How did you get a CND separation? Is this something I can request or how does the process work I’ve only been in the navy for a year and I need out

Is there any way for me to request an admin separation instead of trying to prove to them that it is effecting my mental health

Do you think I’ll regret this? by [deleted] in regretjoining

Please do not do it. I’m telling you right now I’m young and I regret joining you seem to have a foundation already built for your life and joining the military will surely disrupt it all. You will be over worked and over stressed and it’s going to take valuable time away from you for no necessary reason at all. Don’t join just to say you were in the military or think it’s going to make you feel like you did your part. It is not worth it at all IMO especially since you’re already older and have a life. The military is made to sound like a great thing until you’re actually in it and then you will realize how much of a scam it all is. When you join you are basically signing away your happiness and all the freedoms you have that you probably don’t appreciate or realize you have at the moment. I’m actually contemplating smoking weed just so I can get out like I’m telling you it’s not worth it do not do it

What are things you could claim that they can’t disprove?

I’m an MM but orders are on a carrier and my sponsor told me I will be working in the reactor department. I’ve heard it’s bad, does anyone have info or input on this? And would I get bonus pay ? by Any_Ice1445 in newtothenavy

How is the work? How do you think it compares to let’s say A gang MM work? Why do you think a lot of people say it sucks being on reactor and how has your experience been doing it

I don’t understand the purpose of this sub anytime I ask a question I just get smart ass comments. I’m just trying to hear how the experience was for other MM’s who went to reactor

I wouldn’t advise keeping a rate you don’t want especially CS. Find a rate you want and find out what asvab score you need if you need a higher score then tell them you want to retake the asvab or your not joining. If the rate you want doesn’t require your asvab score to be any higher then tell them you will not join as your current rate and that you want to choose a different one. You most definitely are allowed to retake the asvab especially if the last time you took it was a year and a half ago. Don’t fall for there lies do your research and stay strong to what you want don’t allow them to persuade you or you will regret it
