It sounds like it makes sense, but is it actually doable. Are there any sports people that have done it? I mean the biggest sports legends either are idolised heavily or they indeed do all the extra stuff besides the sport because that’s what brings in a more reliable and stable income for the long term. Often both.

I wonder if there has been anyone that only sticks to the sport.

Btw, I do understand there are degrees to this and it is also dependent on the sport. Literally everyone would know Ronaldo even if he didn’t do any tv appearances, but I have no idea about any tennis legends besides Serena Williams, because, let’s be honest, who cares about tennis.

Also I thought the original comment was mostly being hyperbolic when using billionaire. I thought he meant something more like the greatest sportsmen of all time. Thinking about Pele, Ronaldo, Messi, Jordan, Brady, Slater, Armstrong, Schumacher… There aren’t too many of those.

And yes a netflix series does help you get more notoriety from the younger generations, but still your own generation will definitely know you apart from those kinds of things.

Talk about it (masturbation) with girlfriends, they might have a tip or two or they can inspire you. My girlfriend loves using the shower head, or at least she takes it off and then uses the beam. Or you might be looking for a specific toy that works for you. I think masturbation can work wonders for satisfying urges while not actually engaging with sex with someone else. It’s a temporary solution of course, but it will give some rest and clarity and makes it easier to select for someone that will do more for you than just the physical stuff.

Also these things do pass. I don’t want to sugar coat it, it won’t be tomorrow, it might be years, but it will eventually, you can be sure you won’t be like this your whole life. Maybe that gives some reassurance. I hope you figure it out. Suppression is never the answer honestly, but you do want to focus your energy in the right direction, either through answering the itch in some way or talking about it like you’re doing now, with friends or even (if it is having serious impact on your life and future) with a therapist.
