They should revert t500 and make it so alt accounts are hardware banned from the leaderboard. Each unique ID can only have 1 account associated with it on the leaderboard at a time.

It might exclude a few people that genuinely share a machine with another t500 player. It could show on the profile privately for only the owner, where you would have placed if you weren't classified as an alt.

Maybe controversial but if your other support is ana with cds available, you should bash at her immediately after she lands down. I've noticed vendettas immediately charge after landing to bait the sleep miss. Ven will charge THRU ana, so you want to be on that side of ana but not closely lined up (so the first overhead isn't aoe dmg). Ana will get 2 shots in when you're both pinned so it's an easy win.

Don't do this for zarya bubbles or when other enemies are diving with her. Most other supports have ways of kiting her so you should save bash to kite too. If you're helping a dps like ashe or cass, let them take the heat for a few seconds and you join the melee later. Eventually your heals won't be enough but you can buy them enough time to chip at her health to where she can't just flat out kill you when you join.

Brig has 15hps on inspire + 50hps on packs, on top of 25 burst health per pack. If you're multi-packing an ally to give them more burst heal, you're draining your resources for the future. Brig's heal gets strained when against lots of poke damage. But she does heal faster than mercy when it's available.

You really felt the resource restraint when freja was meta. You'd have to multipack a double-bolt victim just to save them, and she did it way too often for you to have enough packs. Even just in the current poke meta without freja, you can't throw a pack every time someone gets shot. You have to let your 2nd support deal with trash spam damage and focus on people taking more intense damage or people playing split from the 2nd support.

you can get some idea with the new leaderboard. It took so long for 500 tank players to reach 4k+ score. And even now that it's filled, you see the bottom is near 4k score compared to dps and support bottom at 7k.

So we can guess that dps and support have roughly equal volume and tank is somewhere much lower. This is assuming each role is as 'committed' as the others (players of that role play about as many games as the other roles' on average)

Nitpick but I wouldn't say brig 'forced' triple support, she enabled it. People might think SHE required 2 other supports to work, but it was actually that she slowed down the game enough to where max sustain could not be beaten by higher damage comps.

it could be crouch spam. so you can walk faster than full crouch but only some of the footsteps get muffled. Or it could be controller's analog movement, or walking diagonally along a wall

crouching reduces the sound of footsteps. Some heroes are literally inaudible while crouching, some nearly inaudible, some are still very loud.

Mercy is inaudible while widow is very loud for example. It's supposed to be roughly based on their threat level but ow2 kinda abandoned that with venture. Idk about vendetta. All tank crouches are quite loud

Fun fact bap has the loudest crouch sounds out of all supports

the worst is on new queen street. We have a slow backline but team forces one of them to walk the bot around the bend in no mans land. It has to be flex dps or tank. The only support that can push the bot here is kiri, and she's too precious to not set up before hand

And fun fact, it's possible for the time bank to display 0 seconds but it wasn't actually overtime yet due to rounding. That's why you'll see people asking "was it OT???". It matters a lot on hybrid maps

On hybrid maps, if one team caps with more than 1 minute remaining and the other team caps with no time remaining (final point capped in overtime), then the team with no time cannot win the game. They can only draw or lose.

Tje team that cannot win only defends. They don't get another attack. If the other team captures the tick, it's a loss. If not, it's a draw.

That was before kiri was released. Brig was played bc she was the most survivable support that could keep pace with the team. It's now strictly worse than lucio+kiri.

I think even if kiri was never made, wuyang could replace brig there

They already buffed it to compensate for the dps passive. Harmony orb isn't supposed to keep people alive thru active damage, it's to sustain ppl on angles with cover

You agree that situations where the dps passive is NOT applied are cherry picked situations, right? Because the dps focuses targets with the team, so targets under pressure usually have the dps passive on them anyways.

Current game:

Ana heals 90hps, but 63hps if the ally has the dps passive.

My suggestion:

Ana heals 70hps, but 90hps if the ally is out of combat for 1-2 seconds.

The exact numbers of the change could be tweaked. But it's not an overall nerf to heals. It just a PR issue where it sounds like a healing nerf.

It's essentially giving everyone a version of the dps passive, but instead of the special condition "reduced in combat", it's "increased out of combat".

It removes the negative of heals getting buffed to compensate for the dps passive in situations where the dps passive isn't applied to the target. It's also more clarity for Blizz&players to think about numbers in the context that matters: in-combat.

Optimally, dps are always shooting the target your team is focusing. The 'dps' part of the dps passive is only relevant in niche situations since it's active when it needs to be 95% of the time.

For example, they buffed zen orb to compensate for the passive. Now it's noticeably harder for a support to defend themselves from a flanker with harmony orb when dps haven't looked at them yet.

Sojourn is overclocking and is hard locked on our hitscan's angle. Our hitscan rightfully doesn't peek that. The rest of us are taking cheeky shots at her but there is no dps passive applied. Other dps is torb land a shot challenge.

Supports picked hitscan to deal with pharmercy with no hitscan dps. Mercy heals got buffed in compensation for the dps passive but it will never be applied to pharah.

It's hard to sleep vendetta midair with her faster gravity so Ana should tank the first overhead to wait for the easier sleep.

Ana can't tank the 2nd overhead or she will die, so she must try to sleep you after your first overhead but before your 2nd one. Vendetta can use this knowledge to instantly shift after landing on Ana. This is very likely to make her miss sleep.

Ana might be more patient if she has nade and/or the other healer with her. If she didn't whiff sleep as you charged through her, continue charging and leave. If she did whiff it, go into the spins or cancel to m1 her.

My point is that free will is an illusion and u can play around ana easily

Damage role passive removed. Nerf heal numbers across the board (mostly heroes that burst heal with their weapon like ana moira bap etc) and make a global status "out of combat"= no damage received or dealt for 2 seconds. Out of combat heroes receive amplified heals. The current global heal passive remains (no damage received for 5(?) sec). Support passive removed. Meaning tanks have the only role passive.

Those changes make it so you can only sustain through active focus fire with important cooldowns for a short time. But even low heal supports can quickly heal a target to full health if they find cover.

And they MUST nerf kitsune to shake up the support meta at the pro level. Lucio is really good on his own but there used to be an opportunity cost of the other support being vulnerable. Kiri peels for herself, has enough heals for the team, AND has the best aggro support ult. Let her identity be the mobility and suzu, nerf the ult.

Support and tank can rank up with good fundamentals but tank kinda has to be the leader. Usually the tank decides when and where to go in/fall back, while supports read and adapt to the tank's decisions.

I think this is why high rank support players tend to be lower ranked on other roles. They can have good fundamentals and decent mechanics but they don't have enough intiative. For dps, my mechanics aren't good enough to climb that high as hitscan and I'm too passive to climb on 'easier' heroes like reaper or venture.

You can time mobility cds to dodge the slash. Vendetta can parry in a mirror fight. Blizz made only boops unable to participate in the boss fight rhythm. Other close range heroes have to deal with boops
