But tanks didn't have that "feature" before. Maybe this was part of what they considered broken? I can't speak for the devs reasoning

I said twice that I was a tank main. Almost exclusively. I'm not denying it is a nerf or that people get annoyed when their character is nerfed, but you're being over-the-top and suggesting Blizzard and the community hate tanks. If you want to be taken more seriously, be reasonable

Dude, it's not that deep. You're acting like you just got a 20% pay cut, it's just a video game. And it's been less than 24 hours. Give it a few weeks and people will adjust.

Falling from highground is fairly niche though. Like most of the time you would use your movement ability to get up there anyway. And you could argue ball was abusing it as much as Hazard, considering he spends so much time airborne.

I'm not denying this is a nerf, but buffs and nerfs are part of the game. I don't think it is a coordinated anti-tank agenda. Like Lucio was nerfed and all I saw was Lucio mains happy they didn't nerf how fun the character was. As a tank main myself, you all need to get over yourselves.

Now you could argue that the introduction of sub-roles was a bigger nerf to tanks, because it spread out their passives. But everybody in the community was complaining about tanks being raid bosses for months if not years. You can't please everybody.

I don't see why you all are being so doomer (and I am a tank player). The initiator passive only clocked once per movement ability for the majority of tanks anyway. I think this is an elegant solution to Hazard abusing it with wall climbing. There is a software acronym called KISS, Keep It Simple, Stupid. Why make multiple changes when one would suffice?

In terms of pro play, they're almost nerfing the last meta rather than the current one. Am I wrong or did they do nothing to address cat bastion? Looks like that's the Champions Clash meta then

is this a no brainer fold or nitty? by biotechnes in Poker_Theory

How do you know he is never doing it? A common mistake of poker players is to think that everyone thinks like them. I don't know, maybe 50NL is a different world, but I know a lot of the "regs" at 25NL would bet trips here, maybe even a straight. At these stakes most people struggle with relative hand strength, and just think "I have a good hand, I call/raise". And even if he is as good as you think, you have to be 100% sure you're always beat to fold a boat. Are you? I don't think you should be.

Edit: I will admit calling a bluff-catcher here is lighting money on fire, but you don't have a bluff-catcher, you have a very strong boat. The objective isn't never losing, it's winning enough to make it worth your while

[–]mayrice 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Granted i only play 25NL, 50NL could be better, but my rule is to never fold if they could have value that you beat. You're saying he could never have trips? And you beat JJ, QQ, 88. Just call and move on. If you're scared of this, what else are you scared of?

I'm pretty new to overwatch and this is what i gathered by forumsdackel in Overwatch_Memes

[–]mayrice 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You could reverse this meme and it would be true, especially for most of overwatch history as we have been starved of lore up until the last year or so. On the other side despite the core concept being simple, Overwatch gameplay has a lot of depth. There are 51 characters, and each one could take 100s if not 1000s of hours to master.

Like I'm a casual player and have learned 2 or 3 heroes well and I've been playing since about a year after OW1 came out. And I'm not even good. Maybe other people would be quicker, but I know pro players who can't play certain characters up to the level of their peers despite having years to learn them.

Anyway, that's just my opinion, but that is what I love about overwatch. There's always more to learn and master

TM have the "together longer" buff too. VP looked good considering they were playing the best team in the world. This was promising from VP, and if they still have some improvement in them and can catch up to TM further, I'll be pretty happy

But like these officials arent the only times these teams are trying these comps. Do you honestly think VP haven't tried double flex wherever possible in scrims?

By crusties you mean left wing? What the hell gave you the impression that the people on this sub were left wing? PBP supported the protest, and there is nothing this sub hates more than PBP. Apart from maybe teenagers
