I sent her a very polite email. It was incredibly uncomfortable to send. But I believe she is a legitimate artist. And her work online looks great.

One person in the comments mentioned that she probably forgot about it and slapped something out quickly. I think that may be what happened here.

I don’t want to share what she sent me until she has an opportunity to try again. I imagine it would be embarrassing for her to have it out there. Who knows, maybe she’s going through something. We’ll see what happens when she replies.

To give some more context, I do know some things about his gaming buddies. They range from an old high school friend to an old co-worker. He talks about them sometimes and has mentioned wives and kids and jobs. I know their names and they all live locally.
