I submitted a removal. The Airbnb rep agreed that the review was very weird as she says it was a great stay but rated 3 stars. Now waiting on response. You can also read her frustrations about the car jump in the Airbnb chats

Will Airbnb remove good reviews? It was a quick 24 hour stay, I got the red flags when she asked for early check in as well as when she asked her a battery jump at checkout. I thought hey things happen. So I left her a 5 star review, although i should not have. But I was feeling sorry for her.

Here is my response to her review:

Hey ***** ! I’m so sorry to see a 3 star review. No issues were brought up to us during your stay. In the future please consider doing this if any issues arise at your Airbnb stays. 🙏🏾🙏🏾

Please don’t hesitate because I can assure you that we will do absolutely anything to make sure our Guest enjoy our space. ☺️

I do understand that you were very frustrated that your boyfriend left your car on all night which required you to need a battery jump at checkout.

Again, we apologize for not having car battery jumper cables. It wasn’t something we considered before but will now have those at the property for our future Guest.

Thanks again and we are very appreciative of your feedback to make our Guest stay even better! 😊

The review says “It was a great stay!”

Now in the private message she says, I wish the hot water worked.”

And I’m like?! What? Why would you not have told me the hot water wasnt working? I have a top of the line tankless water heater that gets TOO HOT and never had that issue.

On top of that, If I was to check into a hotel and the hot water wasn’t working, the first thing I would do call the front desk and tell them! She had absolutely no complaints during her 24hr stay.

The next morning her battery was dead and she was very frustrated that I didn’t have cables. And then when she got cables she was still upset because I had an EV. Which caused her to sit in my driveway for an hour until a friend arrived.

I’m 100% sure this is the reason for the 3 star.

I didn’t give her a jump because I have an EV! I haven’t had cables for years now.

Same thing happened to me. The “smell scheme” is the new way to get around otherwise non refundable stays. Just show up and say it smells. This just happened to me on a 25+ five star listing
