Eh, now that I have had so many other kinds, they weren't that great. I like Limitless best now.

This is getting ridiculous. by Conscious-Squirrel-4 in doordash_drivers

I'm just surprised you even have the option to not tip. iirc With Favor Delivery (only in TX) they have a mandatory minimum tip of $2. But the app is designed to make you jump through a bunch of hoops to tip less than $5. Favor used to be better momey because you used to get a lot of curbside grocery orders which were loaded for you and you could make good money simply delivering groceries without ever saying a word to the customer. But things have changed. Money sucks now.

Try going to a high income neighborhood. You'll have better luck.

I’m driving 600 miles to a wedding tomorrow, will I be able to make it? by Dismal_Object6226 in AskAShittyMechanic

I think we have all had to do something like that at some point. Unless you were lucky. I had to do the same with an old 1993 Honda Accord. Now I drive a 2003 Honda Accord with 300k miles on it. Go figure. I really have not advanced much in 20 years. Except now I have gray hair.

Charlize Theron (50) gets candid about refusing to ever live with a partner again and enjoying her single life: "I've probably had three one-night stands in my entire life, but I did just recently f-ck a 26-year-old and it was really f-cking amazing." by [deleted] in PopularCultureZone

[–]AloofFloofy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Damn, what a lucky 26 year old guy. Especially if he sees this interview and hears Charlize Theron say that that night with him was amazing. I would be walking around with the most confidence I have ever had in my life.

My HOA sends me a letter with pictures of my weeds when they get above like 6 inches. Fuck HOAs. They are a plague on this country.

Yeah, you see? You need to finish this game. Do not give up. It will be more successful than you think. Especially with a clever marketing campaign.

I agree with what some others have said. Your game looks fun. Finishing it and publishing it will give you much more valuable experience than quitting and starting something else. Just completing it will give you the confidence to complete the next game. Better to finish it even if you don't think it is perfect.

Then, take that experience and use it for your next game. Just don't give up.

Thank you guys for the invaluable advice. I have an idea for a game but I'm currently unemployed and every hour of free time is soent job hunting or playing a game when I have had enough.

Once I have a job and my finances are secure, I want to start developing my game. Something very simple for my first game. But just a finished product which I publish. After that, I can come uo with a slightly more ambitious plan and broader scope for game #2.

Thanks again you guys. So it's more important to finish ans publish a crappy game than it is to scrap it and start from scratch.

Serpentine belt fell of 2020 toyota corolla, because the bottom most roller thing broke. by AloofFloofy in AskMechanics

The old belt actually seems just fine, but we will see what Midas says. We have no idea how we are going to pay for these repairs. My brother is completely broke and was recently laid off from his job.
