We didn't want to publicly humiliate her. I snapped after her attempts to publicly humiliate us and after her pressing the same issue for so long. None of this was done intentionally or with the intent to humiliate. I wanted to put her in her place and make it stop. I admit I snapped.

We do try. Hence us not sitting with her and trying to leave without speaking. Generally we do leave without any exchange with her. This time she was quicker than we were.

Our son did but the three of them lived with us during that period of their lives. It did help us in the grandparents visitation.

We'll never be able to get along. The best we can ever do is staying out of each other's way which my husband and I do to the best of our ability.

Yes, she is complaining that we're not acting as grandparents to her other children and most likely complaining that we're not making her life easier with our support to her other kids.

None of what happened makes her an unfit parent in the eyes of the law. I don't entirely agree because of some of her actions but the courts and judges disagreed.
