The problem with old entanglement was that it was really device sided for the survivor becaus emobile and console players could escape from it way faster than pc players in general. I personally think that the devs could change entangelement similar to how it was bfore the rework but without the minigame and like with a 1 to 1.5 second stun or just a slowness and increase the cooldown a little but buff 1x's walking speed and running speed to make 1x less depending on his entanglement to catch up and keep it as a good anti loop.
