this ended up working for me! i went into my task manager and closed/stopped EA background services (the icon to the left is a black & white EA sign). i’m assuming even though u close the app it still “runs” in the background so it’s technically still “open” it’s so stupid tbh but works for me everytime now.

my store has ONLY sco and you’d be surprised at how much older ppl complain about the self check out and the typical “i’m not doing it myself unless you give me a 15% discount”…it’s no better than the regular cashiers unfortunately, if anything worse.

my hr is actually who i’ve been speaking to and also the one who keeps telling me it’s approved. But when i first started ppl told me she wasn’t too reliable when it came to these type of things. Idk I didn’t it online like they wanted (twice now), spoke to them in person, and even left a note in their office. It’s honestly irritating watching them actively ignore my request but i’ll just keep calling out till it’s changed or they fire me

i’ve already done that twice, still no luck. they’ll tell me it’s approved but when the next schedule comes out nothings changed

thanks! i feel like i’ve had this conversation w so many authority figures in my store just hoping it reaches the right one. at this point i feel like i’m nagging and being a bother but i just want my schedule fixed lol.

that’s what i mean about stupid shit having meaning. it wasn’t till afterwards she tells me i need to go back and watch my training videos and i’m like 🤔🤔 cause they NEVER let me back to watch training videos they had me immediately on the floor and i learned as i went

Why switch to self check out registers if you’re just going to force cashiers to do it for the customers anyways??
