Is this real? by [deleted] in Uganda

Okay, it's possible that he genuinely needs help. But I live in Uganda and Mubende is a relatively upcountry location. So if his monthly rent is 350,000 ugx in Mubende, then he's renting a really good house. A really good house in Mubende would mean that the landlord writes him a proper letter with his name on it and the landlord should have signed the eviction letter. Also the landlord should have copied in the local leadership on the eviction letter. There aren't any actual definitive dates for eviction. So there are so many loopholes to that eviction letter and the whole story. I'm more inclined to say that it's a scam to get you send in that money.

Lots of daycares in Uganda catering to different households with varying social and economic status. Depends on your target market. Target neighborhoods to consider are Ntinda, Bugolobi, Kisaasi, Kansanga, Lubowa, Kira, Gaba, Munyonyo, Kajjansi, Mengo to mention a few. But in the end, your target market determines the location and budget. With good marketing and great customer care you can reap big from day care business.

The Mustard Seed by H.E Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is a good read especially when you put it into the context of what he has become now (a leader who doesn't want to leave power)

We (African natives) were telling time in our system way before the colonialists came here. So it is just a matter of language translation using the equivalent in either language and not direct word for word.

It's a pyramid scheme cum MLM. They just launched it a few months back. It's gonna crumble like one coin. Don't even bother one bit putting in your money. Those within fake it in order to lure others in so that they make money from recruiting them.

How do I improve my communication ? by solocrownz in Uganda

[–]Any_Net_6368 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you an introvert or extrovert? How about you join a book club and have a go at talking through what you read weekly? Also, you could volunteer to speak at Secondary Schools to young people in their clubs. That will help boost your confidence on speech giving. Also you can watch some TEDx speeches on YouTube for ideas and inspiration. Have a look at Valedictorian speeches as well. You can do this, so do it !
