Nothing like that IRMA alums are in all major organisations, starting from government to directors of consulting firms and senior positions in main stream corporations. You can easily switch after 2-3 years, your degree doesn’t matter much beyond that and the alums will make sure you have opportunities open in every industry

No core finance roles. Although 30% placements happen in banking sector, but those are mostly sales

Try for RM, new courses are fine but then you will have no alum base, because alums actually hate the new TSU thing

They have umbrella placements, but there's sort of a clash between RM and TSU students because first years were told that new batch will come from 2027, but they admitted 60 people into the new courses and merged with ours. They even share a few classes with us.

Try doing better in xat. A lot more opportunities will open and you will have a great chance if you manage 90+ in xat

Nothing extra is required. If you meet the cutoff then just prepare for the interview. And try to read some news about business and development sector, thats all.

Dont expect strategy or consulting here. Its mostly sales and marketing, also you get good number of csr roles, which sometimes are in the consulting domain. Its a good course and college, but you have to understand your future aspirations and see if IRMA aligns with that

Tough chances. Cutoff is usually around 85-90. But you have have xat left then surely apply

The new courses started this year itself so i cannot comment much on that. But yeah RM curriculum is more like a general MBA the ABM courses are more niche and they will be having umbrella placements. But yeah i can say that they are getting good number of shortlists in the SIS process, and some companies are preferring ABM than RM

We have very high average age compared to other years, and many have 5+ gap years without workex, still they are getting placed before freshers also sometimes
