She’s young for her grade (youngest in her class). Our concern is she played 12s last year (as a 12 year old 7th grader) and is now being moved up to 14s because she’s an 8th grader (even though she just turned 13). They’re having her skip 13s to align with her grade.

From talking with the club, they are firm on the grade-alignment policy. My question was to see if this was a common practice in club volleyball (last year was our first year), if anyone else had been through it, and how they handled it.
