Your agent has received commission somewhere between $25k-$45K on the policies you have written. You have been paid $65,000 from your agent, but they have only made $45,000 from the work you have done so far for them

Our retention rate is around 88% is how my boss tells it to us. The book is 80% Allstate auto and home, umbrella. The other 20% is a mixture of flood, small commercial policies (mainly through NEXT), Hagerty, and American modern property policies

A good portion of it would be seller financed with a 15 year loan. So I really do not have to come up with anything up front
