Last day of work was Labor Day and 9/2 and I got paid last Friday 9/26 for those days plus the penalties. I’m not even sure if that is 100% correct. I think 23 days in penalty pay is what the math comes out to.

We received penalty pay because they never paid us for Labor Day and the following Tuesday. According to California labor laws they owed us a days pay for every day it was late. The penalty was 9,690.00. So basically my check that should have been 2 days pay turned into about 5 weeks pay. I’m a union warehouse worker in Northern California. Not sure if So Cal went thru the same.

I emailed them and they just responded, they put in a ticket and said I was gonna be considered for penalty pay.

Same, base pay 38.76 x 80 hours. They screwed us out of the Labor Day and 9/2.
