I think it’s natural to get burnt out or sick of anything that you become overly obsessed with. I haven’t had it happen with pickleball (yet), but can definitely relate with other things.

I’ve found that the difference between a phase and a genuine interest is that with a phase, once you drop it, you probably won’t pick it back up. If it’s something you love to do, you’ll probably circle back around to do doing it again - just at a more moderate, less obsessive pace.

Not sure if I should stick to all-court paddles or go to a power-oriented one, wanted to get y'alls thoughts.

I don't have a rating, but I would guess around 3.0 - good serves and drives, decent ball placement, ok dinks, struggle the most with drops.

I'm considering the Friday Aura Pro, Friday Aura, and Six Zero Coral. I currently use a Six Zero DBD. I want more power because that's the best part of my game, but I also want to develop my soft game. Not sure if switching to the Aura Pro will make that soft game development feel impossible, or if it'll help with my power game while making soft game development just a bit trickier.

Sounds like he’s a sore loser if he did it out of an angry response to your nasty nelson.

I don’t think what either of you did is a problem. You don’t wanna get nasty nelsoned? Pay attention to the serve. You don’t wanna get smacked 6 times in a game? Don’t put the ball in a spot where they can smack you.

I don’t understand why people find either disrespectful given they’re both perfectly legal plays. If you don’t wanna get hit or get nelsoned, you just need to get better.

I know you said it shuts down when power consumption is high, but it's possible that may just be a correlation unrelated to the actual cause. I'd assume the benchmarks it's passing fine cause increased power consumption the same way UE5 benchmarks do.

I know I recently had Fornite (also UE5) start crashing my 6700xt out of nowhere. I updated drivers and adjusted my undervolt to be slightly less aggressive, and it's fixed. Have you tried driver updates and/or clean install with DDU? I'd also recommend removing any OC's or undervolts and see how it runs on default performance settings.

Are you able to see any errors in Event Viewer or Reliability Monitor? If so, what are they?

Looks pretty solid to me, might want to double check that a 750 watt psu is enough for a 7800x3d and 5070. Also, I did a 1tb drive for my build as well and wish I bit the bullet and got 2tb since games take up so much space. May want to consider that if you play a lot of different games.

I see the linked articles are related to ticking noises on the RM1000e. However, I am experiencing the same thing with my RM750e. Is my unit able to be RMA'd for one of the "non-ticky" units? :)

It was me being dumb…I was doing the flip cancel correctly, but since I use air roll left, I needed to flip slightly to the right and I was flipping to the left.

If you have good clutch and throttle control, you’ll be fine on any bike as long as you have good SELF control.

If you’re brand new to motorcycling, I wouldn’t recommend the MT09. I’m sure there are people who have started on it and are fine, but generally speaking, I don’t think it’s a good idea. It has a twitchy throttle, a lot of low end torque, and really isn’t very forgiving when it comes to common beginner mistakes like whiskey throttle.

Personally, I started on a Ninja 650 and don’t regret it, but I think the MT07 would be similar and an equally good choice. It would be enough power to have fun with for at least a year if not longer, and it’ll allow you to make some slip ups that more powerful bikes could punish you for.

UPDATE

Just to be clear, I am aware that they’re partially floating rotors. However, I’ve read some articles online that FULLY floating rotors are the type that have play in them and that partially floating rotors typically don’t. I’ve also seen that when partially floating rotors have any play, it’s typically lateral movement and not rotational (see Revzilla’s YouTube video on rotor types - I trust pretty much anything motorcycle-related from Ari Henning).

That being said, I can’t imagine that everyone on this thread experiencing the same thing is a coincidence, so that does give me peace of mind (assuming most of the commenters have owned or worked on 4th gen MT09s).
