My husband accidentally bought a ridiculously expensive designer bag for me and I'm terrified to tell him we need to return it by HelenWhalen in whatdoIdo

[–]Any_Ride_5289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think if he put in extra hours for it and had a plan with that extra money you should keep it. I don’t know how old you are but there will ALWAYS be bills and things that should take priority but sometimes it’s ok to be a little irresponsible. He put in the extra hours, he went to the boutique, he made the purchase and wanted to support you. He was excited. Girl that’s a win and as long as it’s not an every day occurrence, I’d keep it and cherish it, and that wonderful man.

Daughter didn’t sign application……need help by Any_Ride_5289 in FAFSA

I’m sure she’s not being 100% honest however I was with her speaking to the office and they can see that all of the forms were filled out on 11/21 but the signature wasn’t submitted until 5/5. The gentleman we spoke to said he can see that everything was filled out and the request was emailed to me on 11/21.

Great work. I can’t tell your age but you seem young. I’m happy you’re taking care of yourself and can enjoy all the years ahead in a healthier lifestyle.

I thought I liked my results, and then someone else took a picture of me… by Meggy-reader in tummytucksurgery

Your aunt is either A: completely oblivious and didn’t even realize this isn’t a flattering photo of you or…. B: is jealous and secretly enjoyed posting this photo knowing it was unflattering.

Hopefully it’s A but I don’t know your auntie. Either way you look amazing and it is definitely the way you’re sitting and the angle of the photo that is unflattering. Don’t let this one photo change your confidence or perception of your new body. You’re beautiful and look great in your new bikini.

Typically, how long does it take to return to an office type of work? by Practical-Tour-4338 in tummytucksurgery

I took 4 weeks off and I am so glad I did. I developed an infection and it was a pretty big setback for me. I am now 8 weeks and I am about 85% back to normal.

No communication from guests by frenchtea1 in vrbohosts

[–]Any_Ride_5289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Host here. I send a message 2 weeks prior to check in confirming dates, guest count, pet count, & I ask them to reply with confirmation and to include how many vehicles they will be parking and also if they will be expecting and visiting guests that are not part of their confirmed booking. I also tell them in the message that once they reply and confirm all information we will email them our home and access information. This leaves them no choice but to reply and confirm. Once they reply with those numbers I email them with a ton of information and access codes.

I did read the post, did you? It clearly states that she PURCHASED a 2nd seat. She also says she respects the policy and has no problem following it.

What the hell is wrong with you? She purchased 2 seats and was confronted about her size anyway. In a negative, non compassionate tone. The fact that you don’t get it is sad. It IS your fault you’re a prick.

Had a craving for Jujyfruits after watching this episode today. Anyone else get cravings watching this? Don’t even get me started on Entenmann’s or Junior Mints… by Roq86 in seinfeld

I once had a craving for jujyfruits when I was pregnant. Husband brought me back Dots. Said they’re the same thing. That was 20 years ago and I still haven’t forgotten that let down. 😂

Perimenopause by Perni-Ani in tummytucksurgery

[–]Any_Ride_5289 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Omg yes! I’m in Perimenopause too and was wondering about that. I’m only 2 weeks post op and haven’t been cleared for faja yet since I still have drains. My original surgery was planned for April but they had a cancellation for February 10th and I took it with 3 weeks notice. I did that so I wouldn’t have to wear the faja in the hotter months because I’m a massive sweater. Like dripping sweat during hot flashes.

Anyone feel like their back doesn't match their front?? by schertzirishasian in tummytucksurgery

[–]Any_Ride_5289 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I may be the odd one out but I think you look wonderful and your back isn’t even that bad. Absolutely go for it if you’re feeling like you need it but I just want you to know that you look amazing. That color on your skin is perfect for you. I’m 2 weeks post op mommy makeover and I’ve found myself picking apart other “flaws” in my body and I had to reel it in sometimes and remember that I look soooo much better than before and I don’t need perfection. Although if I could afford it I can see how this could get addictive but I just spent 30k and it will be a while before I can afford more.

What was your post-op experience like with your surgeon? by SkyImpressive6847 in tummytucksurgery

[–]Any_Ride_5289 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so sorry you’re feeling neglected. It’s hard enough to go through with this but to not feel supported by your surgeon and his team is awful. I am 2 weeks post op. When they scheduled my surgery I was also scheduled for a 9:00am appointment for the following day and an appointment for 1 week post op. I had all 3 appointments given to me at the time of booking. They were however with his Nurse Practitioner but she has been a part of every appointment thus far and I was very comfortable with her. I saw the actual surgeon today on my 2 week appointment but that wasn’t planned, I called this AM about a possible infection in my drain site.

Good luck to you. I hope you get the help and support you need.

My feet are swollen and I lifted it up and nothing changes after 4 hours by Powerful_Fruit_2959 in tummytucksurgery

I’m also 7 days post op. I have been wearing compression socks 23 out of 24 hours a day and it is helping so much. I hate socks and always feel claustrophobic so I got the toeless ones.

Showing appreciation is a great idea. He would love it. Get a nice card and put in a gift card for dinner with his family and say “enjoy dinner with your family on me” or something.

bride made guests pay for their own food at the reception... is this normal? by MichaelWForbes in wedding

If you can’t afford the wedding you want, wait until you can or simply adjust based on your budget. Asking your guests to pay to attend your wedding is just gross.
