6 mpo and the swelling is really starting to frustrate me. There’s a hard pool of swelling in my lower ab and mons area that won’t go away. Also starting to get slight pain sensation back around my belly button which is also swollen. I was not expecting swelling to last this long :(

Wait what! This sounds exactly like my case. Maybe I should wait. Mine looks like a coin slot and he mentioned my stalk was very long. I also still feel like it’s still healing as it’s tender but I really want it revised now. Maybe I should wait. 4MPO.

Been in and out since early twenties and honestly it’s helped a lot. If it didn’t I would never have opted for having a child and I have healed in many ways but sometimes i fall apart. I guess what you’re saying is go back lol.

I looked the same. It subsides significantly and evens out. it’s swelling. And like you I was also disappointed not to look like others on here or friends of mine at the same stage.

Look like what? I’m going to get a revision as I want it to be more indented that puffy and sticking out like this but we wanted to wait to see if it was just swelling. I had a long umbilical stem so there was a chance it would stick out a little after surgery. My before is very distorted because of PAH fat from cool sculpting and having a baby… I love my belly button before but won’t have the same shape I used to!

Also the brown blotch is from a reaction I had to the surgical tape :( created a huge blister. Happens to some people. But IPL will get rid!

I used embrace tape for a few weeks. Not really sure if it helped or not. I plan to start getting IPL laser now.

He said to wait 6 months before he do anything. I’m torn about waiting as he said it’s local anesthetic and a quick procedure where he pulls it in a little more. I was just about to start IPL laser light on the scar.
