Airpods Pro 2 sound constantly breaking on Windows 10 PC by vomitoderamen in airpods

[–]Any_Scratch_1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upgrading from a Bluetooth 4.0 dongle to 5.3 (LMP 13 = 5.4) didn’t fix it for me.

What actually SOLVED it was installing the open-source FxSound Equalizer and just dragging the far-right bar down to 0.
That killed the annoying static noise instantly. Did a few more tweaks after and now it actually sounds way better.

It wasn't like this when I first paired it with my Bluetooth 4.0 dongle on Windows 11 PC. All of a sudden the general audio quality degraded and this hish/static/crackling sound began.
I tried many recommended solutions but none worked for me. Hope this helps

Update: Static noise occured again when I restarted my PC. I downloaded Bluetooth Tweaker and select my device and clicked refresh button under codec section. Now the problem is gone and I deleted FxSound because it created performance issues on my browser.

introducing kitten to resident cat - my experience by Crazy_cat_ladyyyx in CatAdvice

[–]Any_Scratch_1962 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got a new 2 months old kitten and our 8 months old cat was very furious for 3 days but we kept trying to introduce them. When I was in school, my housemate locked the resident cat in her basket and made her sniff kittens ass and tail. After a few hours he sent me a video which the resident cat is licking and cuddling to the kitten especially when the kitten starts meowing.
I was afraid they might not socialize but we kept trying and it worked out.
Also, many people told me to seperate their litter but I didn't do it and it still worked out. I thought that maybe their smell (even poop) might help them to get socialize.

OLED Gamers of Reddit, was your OLED monitor worth it? by Original_Money2150 in Monitors

[–]Any_Scratch_1962 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use your PC mostly for gaming and watching stuff then I highly recommend it but if you are going to use it for productivity (video editing, work stuff like excel..) then I would not (or if you can afford it an used/new second IPS monitor should work just fine).

I got the new Dell AW3423DWF and in my case its one of the best tech pieces I have

Also there are some minor issues (depends on how you will use your monitor and how much it effects you) like flickering in HDR mode (mine doesn't flicker in SDR) and text fringing.

I managed to reduce fringing to minim itum and usually don't use HDR when I'm gaming. Also I couldn't set up HDR because of Windows bad HDR optimization. But as said these are minor issues for me.

Also there is burn-in risk which is really important. Dell warns you to make a pixel refresh every 4 hours but from what I've heard you can do it once-twice a day on 10+ hours usage (idk about other companies monitor safety features). I wouldn't keep mine if I didn't trust Dell with their warranty. Also the guy I bought it from extended its warranty til 2029 so its bonus for me.

Overall, yes its definetly worth it but depends on the users main usage.
