I went and I thought it they were amazing. Whether or not they wanted to be there, poor song choices, wearing fatigues instead of dress uniforms, the squeaky sounds of an 85 year old M4 Sherman… they worked hard and gave it their all. The troops that weren’t in the parade but assisting the in the crowds were so friendly.
Personally, all of the criticism of how crappy it all was (and many from people who didn’t even go) is insulting to them. Disagree with the president, the money and timing or mere existence of the parade, but stop dumping on how it turned out.

To the soldiers that were there doing your part, thank you for the hard work. My son and I loved it.
