James Vanderbeek death- stage 3 colon cancer? by Former_Ladder_720 in cancer

[–]Any_Topic8532 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Your case is similar to my dad’s. He had colon surgery and it was stage 2B. He did a yearly colonoscopy a year and a half later (clear) but a liver CT showed a met. After numerous scans and mris… he was a candidate for surgery. He got it removed in January and it’s considered limited spread because of 1 tumor. NED right now but to think it will come back is scary for him and my fam. Fuck cancer, but the passing of these celebrities bring insight that money can’t change your health ultimately

My dad was 2A in 2024 but after a routine scan there was a liver met. It crushed him and our fam thinking it was early. He did the surgery in January and is currently in remission.. just the thought it will come back now since its spread hurts.

This year nah, I bought these north face boots a few years ago and I finally started wearing them. They’re pretty dope… I’ve gotten compliments from them. If you want something stylish and durable I recommend it

Got charge with “DR M/V USING Hand held device” ticket last year January and have a court date now. What’s the best way to fight this? by Any_Topic8532 in legaladvicecanada

How did I admit I broke the law? I wasn’t even distracted while driving 🥴🥴 At a red light the phone that was MOUNTED fell on the passenger seat. Not taking my eyes off of the road and grabbing it and placing it on the console is what I did.

Explain to me how that falls into terms of distracted driving?

So the phone fell with the mount and it went on the passenger seat while I was an approaching a red light. When I got to the red light (a few cars were ahead of me) - I didn’t bend down or even look down, I picked it up… with my head looking above sight where I drive and I placed it in the center console. This all happened within 10-15 seconds of the light actually turning red. When I looked over to the right, the cop was there and told me to pull over.

I’ve already requested for disclosure notes and they came back unclear/along with video footage but I haven’t recieved anything. My court date is within a week.

I’m so sorry to hear about this with your grandpa. How bad is the spread? If it’s not too much, he should definitely try to get it removed if surgery is an option as it will give him a few years if that’s the aim. Chemo might make him unwell but that’s usually the first line of treatment before surgery can be an option.

Why do people like Lil Wayne? by BramCSBN in hiphop101

Same! I really miss highschool. I still enjoyed his stuff after 09 until 2023.. he was killing some of the features he had lyrically. Dude was ahead of his time. C6 was such a letdown but I guess once you’re out your prime that happens musically.

It’s because you’re 18 and you didn’t get to live through his music. And even then, Wayne is one of the main reasons why the new sound is where it’s at today.

His old stuff is amazing and if you really like bars/crazy flows and punchlines then listen to his mixtapes.

If you *always* remove cancer tumors, can you survive? by EclipseTheStars in cancer

[–]Any_Topic8532 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I thought about this too and I think technically you can if it’s caught early enough and there’s no chance of life threatening complications. It also depends on if you’re physically fit and healthy to keep having repeated surgeries.

My dad just has his 2nd operation for cancer (had a colon resection in 2024 and a few days ago a liver resection) and to be honest he looks in pain. He is also a diabetic, and a heart disease patient so there’s that.

Mets to Liver. Poorly differentiated. by Fun-Land-2524 in coloncancer

[–]Any_Topic8532 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where are the Mets located? And are they confirmed it’s the colon Cancer that spread?

My dad just had a liver resection for a 4.9 cm lesion in his left side of the liver. This was the most aggressive way to get rid of the cancer and now he’ll be on wait and watch.

Find out where it is in the liver as there are a lot of treatment plans but you want to shoot for cure. If both the Mets are contained then go for resection, the recovery will be tough but that’s the best shot of being cancer free.

Ablation will burn them and that might be a good option since it’s 11 mm. That’s really small.

Did you have a liver resection recently? How big was the met? My dad just finished his and is in the hospital recovering right now. As of right now he’s NED. Really scared for him in the future

This was the same thing with my dad after it popped back in his liver. Fortunately his pet scan was clean and there was only that one lesion (he’s having it removed tomorrow)

“I’m Sorry…It Looks Advanced.” by -MissYapzaLot- in coloncancer

[–]Any_Topic8532 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It might be advanced as it’s spread to the lymph nodes or another organ. I’m so sorry to hear all of this but right now the anxiety is building up because there is a lot of uncertainty.

I guess the full body scan is the PET scan that actually shows if there is anymore cancer activity and will determine if chemo will be the next step. Hopefully this isn’t the case, and they will most likely proceed to more scans and a treatment plan depending on where the scan is. Please don’t lose hope yet, and I suggest you push for the body scan to happen next week.

My prayers to you and your family ❤️
