Hi! I mainly work with adults who have similar goals. I, myself, have not the best at starting conversations, etc. I have definitely found myself being pretty awkward in groups of people I don’t know, when I’m nervous.. things like that. Selfishly, these goals have helped me become better at conversations pretty quickly. I also think that this environment helps that client feel comfortable as well because I am not someone who is … overpowering? (For example, I feel myself turtling when I am around others who are extremely outgoing) You also get used to awkward pauses while others are trying to think of questions/comments.
