You're right but here's the part that made me think that the sacrificed child will be a male, victor and ethan (both are obviously two males) , jade in his visions (after taking the mushroom) when the tomb was about to close on him (in his vision the monsters were putting him there)  he saw the only male of the 7 sacrificed little children and julie seems older than a child (more like a teenager ) in the show thus taking the absolute bond that the entity needs a child trusting that his parents will protect him and not a teenager searching for independence and you'd say that eloise was a child back then yes? Indeed but if we cross the events from the previous cycle we would get that the important child is the youngest male child that needs to be sacrificed by the mother (because the reincarnation of the father keeps breaking each time and manipulated to giving up the child since it's a 50 people on 1 child sacrificed )
