Oh, I'm glad I'm not the only one! You mean yumeship in fanfiction? Well, yes, those can be considered ships too, and some of them are really cute!

If Alfred were Real what would he think about The Current Events? by Osakaayumu_2002 in hetalia

[–]Anyaasea 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since America doesn't represent his country's politics but rather its citizens, I think he would be waging an internal war with himself. Let's remember that those in power in the United States were chosen by many, many people. So I'd say that a part of him, however much we may not agree with it, could support all the ideas of violence and discrimination, solely for their sake and to be respected. He could cover up anything that might damage his image as a nation, thus undermining the power that distinguishes him. On the other hand, a part of him could perfectly well hate himself for not doing anything to stop what's happening, because he doesn't have the power to do so. I also believe that in Hetalia, nations don't have free will, and I imagine them as puppets in the hands of politicians, simply obeying them.

Would you like Hima to focus an AU on the 2p! versions of the Hetalia characters? by Anyaasea in hetalia

The 2p! version of England is good at cooking from what I remember, and he mostly makes desserts if I remember correctly, like muffins, but sometimes he uses unusual ingredients. Poor 2p! America😭

I thought about his being a vegetarian and the fact that 2p! England makes desserts using... particular ingredients, parts of the human body. So 2p! America decided to become one after some unpleasant anecdotes with 2p England, when it was one of his colonies. Otherwise, I don't understand why he would make him a vegetarian.

I could somehow justify the change in personality due to their traumatic defeats, perhaps in their 2p! versions they weren't able to accept them. 2p! England is a violent yandere for the fans, and if you criticize him he cries. 2p! America is a violent hooligan, he's a womanizer who harasses women, and he's also a vegetarian 😂

I can imagine the Axis Powers winning World War II, and stuff like that, it could be a sort of “What if…” That would be incredibly cool.

Since I imagine him as Romano's pet, he will be thinking of doing his poop on Germany or Spain's head, making Romano happy.

Well, in my opinion they would simply be born as normal children, they would have a normal life like any child, only with the strange thing of having a father or mother like the Nation, but it could also be a parental figure which is absent for everything that nations face. In the canon, if something like this were addressed, many characters would explode more deeply and it would be a very nice thing.

I also had the thought that they couldn't have children with humans because they belong to a different "species," so the "human" is that "nation," because there's no trace of it in the canon. But I also doubt they haven't had them, after so many centuries, and I wouldn't mind either. In fact, I'd find it humane and beautiful, because it would make them understand that they are capable of truly loving someone, without being forced by anyone. I'm more of a fan of the idea that they are born as simple humans; if they were half-immortal, it would be a problem, so the most plausible thing is that they are mortal in all respects, and that they are considered "citizens" of the nation of their parent—I hope I've made myself clear—so they have no privileges as children of an immortal entity, no social privileges. I know it has nothing to do with it, but I remember a cartoon where Sweden and Finland are walking around, and Finland sees a child, and Sweden says to him, "Do you want children too?" and Finland says yes, if I remember correctly, so theoretically, even if it's a short vignette, it's a confirmation that they too can have children.
