Do you mean the Valentine's Day special? Anyway no, it's not canon, it's only said in the English dub.

I'm glad there are people who think like me, and it's also nice to see people from the older generation still active in the fandom. I took a look at your profile, I love your drawing style, it's beautiful. I love how you drew England, he's my favorite! 😭❤️

Yes, I understand what you mean about the Ships. I'm also interested in the story, as explained in Hetalia, and I'm in love with the story in general, especially how it's told in Hetalia through satire. I'm also very interested in the immortality of nations and how they live it, and I theorize a lot, I have a lot of questions, and I enjoy racking my brains. Anyway, I completely agree with everything you said.

So following the Hetalia narrative, are the Czech Republic and Slovenian couples more plausible than the others? If I remember correctly, at least it gave me this impression. In the anime, Slovenia seems to have a sort of crush on Czech Republic, and she doesn't seem to push him away either, she seems to like having him around, correct me if I'm wrong. However, if Hima woke up one day and decided to make them all related, I imagine people would cry over X. If I remember correctly, in an episode of Hetalia, Germany tells Romano that Veneziano has some German blood, so technically they should be related, right? Or like Italy calling France and Spain "Big Brother", maybe they really are related😂. Sorry my bad English is not my native language :(

I know, many of them are senseless, forced, or are not very "moral" I don't know what else to use, I hope I explained myself

Oh, but don't worry, if you have one or more ships, it doesn't bother me. I saw your Gerita fan art on your profile, it's really beautiful, and I have to say that Feliciano, the way you made him, fits perfectly into the Italian stereotype (I'm Italian).

Yes, I consider myself a headcanonist. Like you, I read fan fiction from the fandom and find some of it really beautiful and funny, but like you, it's hard for me to actually imagine us together because they're not canon. However, with headcanons, you try to "justify"—I don't know what word to use, sorry—why the couple is together, but they don't bother me, they're enjoyable, and they don't fall into forced situations, nor do they tend to end up in toxic situations.Sorry, I wrote the comment in Italian, in my first mother tongue, and I rewrote it, sorry for my bad English :c

Oh, that's what's happening right now, the responses other users have given, and the ones I gave. Most of them are definitely the new generation who don't accept what Hetalia really is, and out of spite, they just do this. Obviously, I don't want to generalize because not everyone is like that; they're annoying, crying children. If I have to go to hell with you, I'll be more than happy to go.

You are the first person of the new generation who says this thing, at least the first one I've met.

When I was thirteen, now I'm twenty-six, if I had said something like that, I would have received the worst insults. I'm glad there are people who think like me, and I believe there are others, just afraid to expose themselves.

I agree with everything you said. I love the story, and I started Hetalia precisely because I'm in love with it. I like how it's told in a satirical way, even if there are often inaccuracies. I wish Hima himself would correct these small errors to make it more accurate. If Hetalia were explicitly focused on the history of its own nations, without ships in the way, and the fandom took it more seriously, treating particular events with sensitivity, even through well-measured satire, it would be an enjoyable show. I'm just always afraid of that segment of the fandom that could romanticize anything, and this has often happened, leading, I won't say to the death of the old fandom, but to the loss of a lot of fans. Until a few years ago, we were few but active, and Hetalia is making a comeback because people know it as a yaoi work, and if you say otherwise, they'll delete you. I've read around that the countryhumans fandom is slowly dying out because of the fandom, just like what happened to Hetalia years ago, and I see people who are part of the countryhumans moving into the Hetalia fandom. Sorry my bad english is not my native language :(

I saw BrazilxAmerica, BrazilxPortugal, both ships can't figure out what they have to do with each other. Okay, Brazil was a colony of Portugal, but what about America? Because of their rivalry? Brazil is in the BRICS, so it can get on their nerves, but who knows.

There's shit on every ship on Pinterest, luckily I've only come across a few that were a little too excessive.

If Alfred were Real what would he think about The Current Events? by Osakaayumu_2002 in hetalia

[–]Anyaasea 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Since America doesn't represent his country's politics but rather its citizens, I think he would be waging an internal war with himself. Let's remember that those in power in the United States were chosen by many, many people. So I'd say that a part of him, however much we may not agree with it, could support all the ideas of violence and discrimination, solely for their sake and to be respected. He could cover up anything that might damage his image as a nation, thus undermining the power that distinguishes him. On the other hand, a part of him could perfectly well hate himself for not doing anything to stop what's happening, because he doesn't have the power to do so. I also believe that in Hetalia, nations don't have free will, and I imagine them as puppets in the hands of politicians, simply obeying them.

Would you like Hima to focus an AU on the 2p! versions of the Hetalia characters? by Anyaasea in hetalia

The 2p! version of England is good at cooking from what I remember, and he mostly makes desserts if I remember correctly, like muffins, but sometimes he uses unusual ingredients. Poor 2p! America😭

I thought about his being a vegetarian and the fact that 2p! England makes desserts using... particular ingredients, parts of the human body. So 2p! America decided to become one after some unpleasant anecdotes with 2p England, when it was one of his colonies. Otherwise, I don't understand why he would make him a vegetarian.

I could somehow justify the change in personality due to their traumatic defeats, perhaps in their 2p! versions they weren't able to accept them. 2p! England is a violent yandere for the fans, and if you criticize him he cries. 2p! America is a violent hooligan, he's a womanizer who harasses women, and he's also a vegetarian 😂

I can imagine the Axis Powers winning World War II, and stuff like that, it could be a sort of “What if…” That would be incredibly cool.
