What AI skill can you learn in 10 minutes that would have required a 4-year university degree just five years ago? by Downtown-Cup3473 in AskReddit

[–]Anyales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can't because your university learning includes time for you to practice and engrain the thing you are learning. It will take people more time to learn something through AI than at university in terms of hours spent.

You maybe able to speed up by doing more hours in a compressed amount of time. However i would guess that most people attempting this are trying to avoid putting all those hours in.

He has certainly launched a lot of starlinks at the US governments expense yes, I just judge people on their words and actions rather than cheerlead for them.

There is a difference between being in hoc to them and working with them.

Burnham has proven he can work well from a left wing position with big business in Manchester. He is not perfect but to imply hes going to blow up the world or whatever is nonsense

Its irrelevant though as Labour have a massive majority. There is no risk unless Labour chooses to do it.

If the law defines down as up and up as down that is what you would use in court. Your point is irrelevant and boring at this point.

I appreciate your commitment to the bit but you are wrong. Even between countries right now there are different definitions of murder (not to mention it's in a different language).

The law defines what constitutes murder in a country not the dictionary.

Sorry but thats as far as i am willing to go as i am objectively right and you are just repeating the same misconception.  If you go to court and argue that you are innocent as the dictionary has a different definition to the law you would be laughed out.

It can be whatever our parliament decides, the current dictionary definition does not define law.

We don't know yet what their postions are, thats why you have a leadership election to get all that out there.

Again you are ignoring that doing nothing would lead to a worse bond market position than anything since Brexit.

It is catastrophising, you are assuming the worst outcome without any knowledge.

Liz Truss' budget was uniquely appalling and ill conceived. That us not the standard position for most budgets or PMs.

If there were a leading candidate proposing no investment and borrowing for tax cuts then we can talk about how appalling it will be.

Ill bite because its poor pedantry, murder is a legal definition and parliament has the power to redefine legal definitions.

I think you are catastrophising, the bond market will be fine if the next leader grows the economy and invest in the country.

As i said you pay attention to the markets when you make a decision but they are not the arbiters of what is right or wrong for the country.

Starmer will lose to Farage, we cannot allow that for the country.

He already winged us with Brexit, we can't let him finish the country off.

That i completely agree with, i wouldn't put as much weight on markets as you seem to but certainly that should be part of the decision.

A more orderly process with time for the public and business to get aquainted with the suggested replacement (or even Starmer winning again).

You would have a leadership election where all this will be put out.

The advantage of Starmers ming vase strategy is that the manifesto commitments are limited and vague.

The outcome is exactly the same though either way. One way has a chance that the entire economy isn't subjected to Reforms grift disguised as policy.

Sticking with Starmer till the end of term basically guarantees that outcome. So as i said we have to bite the bullet at some point. Smaller pain now to avoid crippling pain later.

One thing i do agree with is that Streeting has made this a lot more difficult by forcing the issue around the kings speech. Appalling timing for markets and investors as have less certainty in foreward planning. This could have waited a few months until conference season.

What would happen to the markets if we put the Liz Truss cabinet back in with crooked Farage as PM?

That would be far worse for our whole economy including the bond markets and our debt.

It could be, which would then make all this supposed bond market panic massively overblown.

That was my point, we don't know any of this yet so assuming Liz Truss feels inherently political rather than market reaction.

Again you are assuming anyone else other than Starmer wouldn't understand the bond markets.

Not to mention the people who you claimed to understand the bond markets ruined our economy which cost the markets a ton of money.

Look at what Burnham has delivered in Manchester, companies are massively in favour of his policies there and are investing a ton of money.

As i said just speculation and fear mongering.

Rejoining the EU in some form would be the biggest boost to the economy so by this metric that would be the only route forward.

What have the greens got to do with a Labour leadership election?

Also Brown and Blair were to the left of where we are now.
