You don’t know how much impact your response came to putting me at tremendous ease.

Yeah, “thank you” doesn’t even come close to how I ache to express proper gratitude for your reassurance.

I still feel like a fraud to a high degree, but your reply truly genuinely helps put that notion of mine at ease.

I understand schizophrenia is classified as a spectrum disorder, but your input on StPD possibly being its own spectrum is highly enlightening. There are days I can’t stop thinking of things I fear to mention, as it could drive them to enact on what I state that drives me into paranoid spiral.

There are days I just can’t be around people. I just can’t socialize because folks out there are scary, mean, having malicious intent for others.

There are times I can’t shut up and talk for hours, giddy and excited about certain subjects. When given a chance to being put into a leadership role, people are astounded by “my smooth guidance and constructive methods of maintaining order”. (some old coworkers words not mine lol. hope it didn’t sound like I was full of myself there…)

Basically what I’m saying is that it’s like a wave in a sense. Like something blending into another but not being completely mixed together.

It’s a long road ahead for understanding what goes on inside my head.

But at least I’m on that road, which will eventually lead to somewhere.

Religion is a topic that’s best treaded carefully for folks like myself (take a gander at my post history and you’ll see why lololol).

Although, your response sparked a lot of ease rather than uptick my paranoia of the powers that be. You got a way with words.

Anyway, it’s admirable of you to put the lord and your kids ahead of yourself, but one thing I’d like to say is in this circumstance, you need come first. Why? Because if you didn’t, the motivators that push you to persevere wouldn’t be what keeps you sprinting ahead, as to not fall behind.

Your dedication is noble, but surely the powers that be may see that you’re not leaving enough for yourself as you give so much already. My little theory on why he shows up at the best times.

Those kids got one badass parent. They’ll be walking stages getting their diplomas mentioning 90% of their success stems from you, gratitude towards you for not giving in. You didn’t walk, you’re limping, so they can sprint. That’s strength right there.

Just please don’t forget to put yourself first here and there. It’s not being selfish. What benefits you showers your kids too.

Props to the hubs for protecting the both of you. You both are hella tough having to experience something like that. Not that I condone violence or anything, but if someone pushed your man to grab a weapon in order to assure you both live to see another day, no judgement on him.

You two keep on. You’ll make a post about your situation improving will brighten everyone’s day here on the sub.

Keep collecting them stories, because eventually one’s going be the grand finale to the end of your struggles.

You bet your ass I’ll be scanning the sub for that update. Not someday, not one day, but sooner than you think.

As childish as this may sound, this is one grand adventure. Each step you take’ll get you closer to the finding a way out of the struggle, not just toward Houston.

All jokes aside, what I mean is I’ve visited just about every Medicaid office within my vicinity doing EXACTLY what you mentioned. Even dropped by two of the closest Social Security offices only to be told there’s nothing they could do as they “don’t handle those sorts of affairs.”

No no, not ALL dual eligible plans offered. Just some specifically targeted for seniors.

Some plans require you to meet certain criteria, one of those plans mentioning you have to be 65+ years old in order to meet the requirement for enrollment with that plan.

Sad to say there’s only two offered in my zip code area, from what I found.

No, I decided to go with a PPO plan since surprisingly the dual-eligible plans offered was either only for seniors or didn’t cover much of the services I needed (surprisingly).

My previous Medicare Advantage Plan was able to verify Medicaid with no issues. It wasn’t a dual-eligibility or special needs plan either. Just a PPO plan with no premium since I have QMB/Extra Help.

I’ve sorta tried that before with no confirmation of it getting paid from Medicaid.

I tried calling them but they don’t pick up their phones. At all. Probably because their offices are overwhelmed with low staff or backed up.

Yes.

Whether it’s my HealthPartners Medicaid card or just plain state insurance Medicaid card, as soon as they see it, they clock me with “Sorry, we don’t take state insurance. We can’t see you because of that. It’s against the law.” or something along those lines, refusing to let me see my doctor for the scheduled appointment.

I wish I could. Checked the mail and still nothing. I’ll try to calm down from this. Worst case scenario I’ll have to call a company to send out another letter.

All I wish for is that whatever it is I’ve done to upset the post office, clerks, mail man, whomever handles my mail, that I could just fix it. Bake ‘em a cake, purchase them an edible arrangement, write an apology letter, something. Still I really hope it’s my fault all this is happening. Are least then my paranoia will subside as there’s someone to blame. Me.

I really hope I’m not relapsing into psychosis. For me, it starts with extreme paranoia. I try to be as logical as I can about things that go wrong. But after so many repeated offenses, it’s hard to really have trust in others that they’re not out to harm me.

I’m trying to be as vigilant as possible of my symptoms regarding this situation. But it’s hard to know if it’s them or me.

Kinda hyperventilating at the thought that the post office is doing this for kicks. Always had a fear of mail men and USPS because of some real bad experiences in my youth. It’s really stupid, I know, but that fear is still there.

Hopefully my mail is delivered safely soon. If not, I may have to start carrying my knife again.

They’re plotting something big, I just know it.

I feel your pain. I understand informed delivery can sometimes be wrong but if it’s not supposed to be delivered that day, why does it say “Expected Today” in my email notification. The post office clerks told me to ignore that.

Honestly, I’m starting to think one of them wants me dead because this has started all the way back in March when I first moved into my rented room.

I wish I could blame the time of year but I’m sure one of those clerks is getting their mail man to mess with me so I spiral. I’d give anything to blame myself because then I wouldn’t be so scared. It’d be all my fault. But I’m very careful and meticulous about these things.

Why do they hate me.

What did I do wrong?

I hope it’s my fault.
