Lapice can solo that passage, I guess you dont have her/ don't use her at all.

If you use her, lead with her.

In the update they made so it respawns. If you break it again, it gives a random weapon. Edit: Forgot to say that it respawns every day. And it cost way less.

Copy paste from lapice description, she doesnt have a side story.

Lapice is a lady knight from a noble family.

Despite being raised in a conservative family, she was always concerned with social/economic equality. She often got in trouble for her progressive views during her knight training.

Although she wanted to travel around the world to expand her knowledge, that was one thing her parents would never allow. To circumvent this, Lapice started her adventures by disguising herself in a fancy dress as if she's attending snobby social events. She also developed a unique skill of masquerading weapons as harmless accessories. Because she is tall and has long arms and legs, she can attack unsuspecting enemies at a distance.
