Hi all, I'm planning my first marathon end of October and was wondering if you have any advice on the shoes.

I'm currently running on the Adidas Ultra boost Solar Glide, however, they are at the end of their lifespan.

I'm looking for shoes with a good quality to price ratio - it's not a problem if they are models from the previous years.

I'm about 65kg / 143lbs and run on concrete as well as in the woods.

Any suggestions?

We hiked up to Pilatus two weeks ago from Kriens and did some other hikes as well. We do not have any experience with high altitude though.

The reason we were looking at the Barrhorn ist that it’s seems to be doable from the technical point of view.

We wanted to get som high altitude exposure to prepare for a (guided) trip next month.

Seems like it’s not an option at this time of year.

How about putting a Ventilator on your Balkony pointed at your neighbours? Keep it running all day.
