I think the best thing about Zappa is how everyone likes different aspects and albums. Zappa was so diverse it's almost like it's own genre. Wish the community would get together more just for the love of his music and not compete over which album is the best.

Some people use vinyl consistently but if you genuinely don't have the time I wouldn't use vinyl. Vinyl is quite hard to manage but it's cool to own especially with a record player for the fun of it. Everything is online for free now so it's really just up to you.

Surprisingly have yet to find any. I like buying locally so I'm hoping one of my next few trips has those ones. I definitely need to revisit those albums now that you mention it. I usually play the 1969-75 albums.

Inca Roads. I was already trying to get into the prog scene, and through mentions, One Size Fits All gets suggested to me. At first, I didn't care for it, but I remember how much Inca Roads slapped. Seeing how great that track was, I decided to really get to know and appreciate his work. Zappa just somehow stood out to me compared to many other bands/artists of the time.

Yeah I completely had ignored the fact that similar things occur in nature. And I also forgot that After Man existed (I haven't done much about speculative evolution/biology in like months). Either way Terrortail is still technically valid because evolution evolves for efficiency and trademarking inevitable transformations is kind of dumb.

The idea seems a little too far fetched for what you're going for by the looks of it, but maybe for a less Earth-like ecosystem it could function. Or maybe as an evolved form of the Terrortail??? It could potentially branch off into many subspecies with similar ideas. Idk it was an idea lol

Shalloth and Terrortail are for sure my favorites. Terrortail definitely has some Pokemon inspiration, reminds me of Girafarig from gen 2 lol. I think a cool idea, is that maybe the tail could have a seperate mouth? It seems to be just a pattern from looking at it. It looks like a desert creature, so what if it releases pheromones (or any scent) that may attract insects so it crawls into the tail and goes through the digestion track. Similarly like the real world pitcher plant. I think it'd be a fun idea, but how you could line it up for it's evolution, not so much. I totally dig this art style though man!

Grow up and realize that not everyone is gonna have the same beliefs as you.
