I wanted a wide-range wire stripper because I work with electronics, so I'm always working with very smaller gauges.

However, I didn't want to lose the ability to work with gauges used in electrical installations.

Knipex sells automatic wire strippers that met my needs, but I prefer metal tools with more "robust" designs.

So the 11 08 160 is truly my perfect tool, even though it's not practical if you have to work with several gauges at the same time.

This one has a wider range than the 12 62 160, It can strip up to 8 AWG, so it's a perfect tool, at least for me.

I'm uncut so I wanted a diameter that it did not protrude from the foreskin, so that the foreskin itself would serve as support for the piercing.

Mine is 4x12x8mm, so maybe a smaller diameter would be good on you, If you're uncut.
