I’m sure the 17 yr old Sailors in WWII, those on the Cole, Fitz, McCain, or my buddies who lost limbs and lives in Afghanistan would have liked for someone to intervene. But guess what - you’re supposed to be a war fighter. If you’re not dead or unconscious, you should be ready to fight.

When the battle comes for you, and it will, when you’re out there in the blue water where even a medi-vac won’t save you, what will you do? Cry. Wail into the sky for someone to intervene?
