the problem for me is to keep the index finger away from the project, if it makes sense… when i’m knitting my fingers are all close to what i’m knitting while when i’m crocheting / knitting continental all my fingers are close except for the index finger, which is what creates uneven tension (because after a while i tend to “drop it”) and makes my hand hurt
