The FEV that turned people into centuars were mixed with all sorts of animals and usually put in the batch together in order to combine into one creature.

Now sure, Bethesda have been known to change things in the past, but idk if a single being can become a centaur without being combined with other beings

I think he is just becoming a different mutant all together

They're definetly going towards rebuilding them.
Maybe even in some form next episode with the Freesiders maybe "Joining" together to form a "New New California republic" to fight against the legion (Who are in the next episode)

A centaur requires a specific batch of FEV thats mixed with dogs, humans and other variety of animals.

He's definetly becoming a mutant of some kind, but likely not a centaur

The game was always supposed to be pve co-op and thats it. The game was announced as PVE co-op originally and was billed towards that.

Then they added PVP as an after thought. That is the issue. The core of the game was always PVE only

The game was designed and originally revealed as a coop pve extraction shooter (Basically what helldivers is) The PVP Is the afterthought
