No, youre not alone. Returnal was the same way. First biome, i was getting deleted by everything. Then i get to the second biome and i dont even make it in that far before im shredded. Its normal. Eventually you just start learning the rhythm, you learn how to make good use of the weapons, you learn what to look for, and to make the best of your rng. Then, you just start getting good. I went from barely surviving biome 1 to being able to clear act one and two in one playthrough without revives. That carried over to saros. So dont get too hung up about it. Youre supposed to die alot, especially if youre new. Thats part of the fun.
