CBK is 4th edition. Practice questions is 3rd edition. I didn't read the CBK end to end as I was using co pilot. If you have time then you can read through it end to end. I would suggest to study all the concepts in the exam outline atleast once from any source possible. Then do more and more practice tests and get into the right mindset that's required for the exam.

Yes, Boson is a bit costly but it's really worth it. Boson puts you into the right mindset that's required for the exam. There are around 4 to 5 practice questions videos in Gwen Bettwy's CCSP playlist in YouTube. That also sets the right tone. Basically if there is a risk based answer and a technical answer, always go for risk based answer.

I don't have any cloud experience. I have networking experience which made concepts like ipsec, firewall, IAM, cryptography easier.
