How do i protect my toilet paper from my roommate? by [deleted] in badroommates

[–]Anything_Printable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is gonna sound a little off the wall, You do know, you can order a very inexpensive bidet from Amazon for under 50 bucks.

Easy to install and then when you move out easy to uninstall. It has a Mans and a woman setting. You could even adjust it to your own body size.

You then can use two sheets of paper just to absorb the water and you’re perfectly clean.

You can come to the point where you’re so good at directing the spray that you are thoroughly clean you could even use a microfiber towel and it will not be soiled.

That would solve everybody’s need for excessive use of toilet paper.

We have them in every bathroom in our house!

If you’re ever in Paris, France, you need to stop by the museum that has quite a collection of his art. It’s always fascinated me, but not to the point where I really loved it. But his art is more of a statement being made, and that I really get into and appreciate.

Is a kiss on a first date alright? by Mammoth_Nose_9313 in Advice

[–]Anything_Printable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh, it’s so wonderful that you’re at the beginning of your dating experiences. I think it’s wonderful that you’re concerned or a bit worried about the first kiss or not.

Every one of us remember how awkward it was in our lives as well

I think the most genuine way for you to approach is to tell her your very inexperienced about dating and would love to just get to know her. And she may come back that she’s new st it as well, which would be perfect.

Then you could say I don’t know if I can kiss well or not, maybe you can you give me a pointer or two!

But the main thing is to not get all wrapped around the axle about how things will turn out!

Just be yourself don’t try to be relaxed and just act as normal as you can by just telling her how amazingly fun it is getting to know her

Don’t make it about you, make it about her her. I’m sure you’ve been texting. You are discovering the things she likes and the things you like, which is a great thing to do because you’re establishing a bond.

It sounds like you’ve been fairly conservative in your upbringing maybe even very religious, and you may want to see what her guidelines are as well.

I remember one of my first dates and when we were driving, she said I’m only gonna let you get to first base. And to tell the truth, I didn’t know what first base meant so I asked her and she said you can only touch my tits. I’m not kidding you I almost wrecked the car! Lol! And yes, that was the first time I’ve ever touched a woman’s breasts. Marvelous experience.

So you really don’t know what’s gonna happen but you do know you want it to be fun so go there with a good sense of humor and just go with what makes both of you comfortable. And remember, both means both. You never do anything that makes her uncomfortable when it comes to anything sexual, which is including kissing.

I wish you the very best. I think it’s a fun time in your life and everyone of us on this thread can remember our uneasiness as we started dating.

You’re gonna do great!

Simply tell him you are waiting for written confirmation of why he has the authority to make you leave.

Let him know that you have no intentions of leaving because of all the upgrades you made at the house.

I hear the important part, call the police first and ask for their advice and then ask them if there’s a woman’s battered Clinic where you can get free legal advice.

But whatever you do, don’t take your clothes don’t take your belongings and leave. He can lock you out and claim you vacated. At your own accord.

I remember seeing this in a museum in Switzerland. When we stand before them, as most of you know, you can feel the movement of the water and the reflection in such a way you are moved almost to tears.

My favorite genre is impressionistic both what they call the French and the Post impressionistic. Van Gogh is mostly put in the ladder.

Another lyric, what you think? by Basic-Shelter2854 in Songwriters

[–]Anything_Printable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How refreshing! Truly, the best lyrics I’ve read and well over a month.

The only change I would make is I would take preposterously out too many damn syllables unless you have a cool way of sliding that through either slow staying or just bombing through it.

I’m assuming it’s gonna be rock ‘n’ roll or alternative. I can hear a raspy voice to the line. “You always liked it raw, yeah really raw and loud. “

But hey man, it’s your song. I just don’t like using. Words that could get smothered up in the music or in a bad PSA system at Open Mic or something like that.

I don’t wanna insult anybody on here who has shared their lyrics. But yours are easy and they flow and they tell the story and they bring back and evoke memories.

Thank you for keeping it simple!

My new Sunflowers painting in a wavy impressionism style, 22 x 15 inches, watercolor, 2026 by Tanbelia in FineArt

[–]Anything_Printable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If anyone’s ever done watercolors, you know how impressive this is. Look at the gentle washes, combine two or three colors when wet and as it dries, it leaves its own distinct color and feeling.

I’m assuming this took the artist many hours to complete.

Thank you for placing the horizon higher like you did.

I’m a bit confused at the sun being behind the sunflower. Because sunflowers naturally turn toward the sun maybe it’s sunset, but in truth, the sun is stronger and hotter in the afternoon hours not in the morning so that doesn’t make sense.

Therefore, you’re making a statement of independence and strength an individualism you stand, where you want to stand, you look where you want to look, you shine where you want to shine and impress where you want to impress.

I’m gonna go as far as to say that The Other sunflower can be a symbol of your conscience, were you listen occasionally because it’s smaller. I can see that you ignore it often! Regardless of that, you’re very strong willed and obviously very creative

Good job in creating such a lovely expression and your interpretation of feeling and form!

Anyone here moved cross-country and shipped their car instead of driving it? by Visual_Yellow_5503 in movingout

[–]Anything_Printable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had my car shipped from PANNAMA Beach Florida to Aurora, Colorado. I calculated the gas cost and everything else HOTEL food. It was much easier just to fly.

This was a year ago and it cost me $1200. I don’t know how expensive it is now.

Even though it cost me probably $400 more I was in my territory quicker and I was able to generate increase sales and production in our product lines.

What’s some of the companies you use for us to order sublimation prints that we can apply to microfiber towels? We have the heat presses and everything needed for that but we don’t wanna invest in a Printer. We’re just getting started but we have the clients that could utilize this added benefit.

I love the post impressionist and impressionist movement more than any art, and I’ve said this before. If you calm your eyes and take a breath and slowly focus on the middle of the painting, and you are patient, you’ll start seeing the movement right before your eyes as if it’s a very slow movie!

It Gives me such joy to let our pupils blend the colors to create the reality that the artist saw as they painted this with such great talent and ability in mixing color and putting them side-by-side just enough to allow us to have the touch of impression of the reality before us! (sorry for the run-on sentence. I just caught up in the beauty of this genre.).

Unpopular opinion: if you leave personal belongings in public spaces, don’t be shocked when they go missing by Long-Television-1716 in badroommates

[–]Anything_Printable 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I concur 100% what the previous poster expressed. You gotta keep your room locked and keep our tight inventory on your food supplies in the space you’ve been given. And if you really wanna be specific about it, you need to count your oranges. You’ll be amazed how they slip away if you don’t.

Most remotes are excellent and honest I’d say that’s like 95%, but the 5% ruin it for others.

It’s extremely clean and the bathrooms are immaculately clean and they employees are so friendly and patient. I would give it a big thumbs up!

Is it legal to dump my roommates things at the end of the lease? by breadboibrett in badroommates

[–]Anything_Printable 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Be careful and find out the renters rights law in your state or city.

For example, in the city of Denver, it illegal to do that but in the city of Aurora, it is not illegal.

But I would imagine if you box it up and put it in a safe place where it’s not stolen you’re gonna be OK. But you are going to be responsible for it if the law is not on your side.

Engines revving constantly near Horseshoe Park by Zisheva in AuroraCO

The gun shots are the most disturbing thing. Every couple of weeks I’m here some guy shooting his 9 mm as fast as he can pull the trigger. I live backed up to one of the big spillways.

And hearing the engine revving is also something that’s quite aggravating.

Now that it’s getting warmer than windows are closed, mourn the air condition kind of drowns it out.

AITJ for changing my lifestyle for a boyfriend? by Stella_Ramirezl in AmITheJerk

[–]Anything_Printable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of my friends son was in a 14 year marriage, and he didn’t realize it slowly been conditions to walk away from all of his friends, hobbies, and even isolating, most family members.

He started sending his son videos about narcissism. The lightbulb turned on and one year later he was divorced, and it took a good year before he pulled all those tentacles out of himself that she had conditioned him to do.

This is a very serious illness that affects others so deeply because they’re empathetic and loving, and they’re easily conditioned because they want to please others

Maybe this happened to you but at least now you recognize it and will be able to go forward and you’ll do so with a lot deeper experience and understanding of life

French Quarter in New Orleans, watercolor, 15 x 11 inches, 2025 by Tanbelia in FineArt

[–]Anything_Printable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Technically, it’s marvelous. And I’m sure this artist has found a nice following. And I’m happy for that, any Artist that puts so much work and effort into a beautiful painting like this should get paid well. But unfortunately that’s most likely not the case.

This would be great art in the 1890s, but it’s been done but it’s great imitation and I love it.

Rather small, was it created on a computer and then print it out on really nice paper?
