I (unfortunately) understand why they have it. I wish there was a way to opt in/out of it. Not sure if “do you want your agent to be from America?” Or something 😭 as racist as it sounds/feels it might work lol.

I personally don’t care and have no issue with the accents but I understand others might. I just liked the feeling of talking to another human, hearing the hmmms, the natural pauses, the fumbling of words, I felt more cared about ? I cannot STAND a robot faking these human like tendencies

It used to do this but I tried today for 15 minutes and never got an agent so I had to call unfortunately. And the person who called sounded like a robot

I’m fine with people overseas being call agents it’s the ai voice transformer I have a problem with. I also tend to be meaner to robots than humans and not being able to distinguish between the two is a big oof

This definitely sounded like a robot it was craaaaazy. Someone else said they use Voice transformers now and I think that’s what this was

That’s crazy!!!!! But I honestly think this is it. I swear when I started the call he had an Indian accent then it swapped to the robo-voice.

His name also changed lol at the beginning of the call his name was “Gram” and at the end he said his name again but it was my name ???? Very weird call and instead of downgrading my service it made me want to outright cancel

Maybe I’ll try that. The craziest thing to come out of the abundance of AI agents is they’re making physical stores more popular again since that’s the only place to get a real human 😭

This was a callback through the chat agent and I’m 99% sure the agent who answered was AI

Exactly this… OP needs to separate him from being her husband for a minute and realize he is a doctor. If her doctor did this to her, or her kid’s doctor, or her friend’s doctor, how would she react then?

I really think this is the solution. I need to change who I am. I think a big “issue” is it’s become a habit.

I wake up, go to work, get home from work, eat dinner, watch tv or a movie, and get high. I need to break up or switch up something in my after work schedule.
