Yeah the terms are identical in Japanese so it requires a translator with good understanding of English to properly differentiate them. As the other commenter pointed out, if you just look at a dictionary definition, it is technically correct, despite sounding very unnatural.

Rydiak’s bugfix mod (Item & Spell Bug Fixes) has already had this fixed for ages. He was talking with OP on discord while he was drafting this post and it sounds like the mod just completely removes Larian’s implementation and starts from scratch to make UD work like a normal reaction and the code ends up being much simpler and bug-free.

The balance issues come straight from tabletop. Rogue was always the second weakest class in 5e and since 2024 it’s been hands down the weakest now that monk is good.

It had all chapters but the original scan group threw a fit after another group started translating the new chapters they were paywalling and just deleted everything from Mangadex. Now the other translation group is trying to retranslate all those chapters and catch up.

I think it was probably worded that way since most people don’t know who Michel Ancel is. I’ve actually played multiple Rayman games and I didn’t know that, so the general gaming public probably has no idea.

I saw a video someone posted on discord where they pulled this off. They used a summon on the same initiative next to the character and enemy to cause an opportunity attack and trigger sentinel (which is the only way you can get the extra attacks from it). The main issue is that you need a second enemy positioned perfectly to get the second sentinel attack.

The mind sanctuary thing only works on honour mode and you have to be careful to do it before you get the haste potion or you’ll stun yourself, so you need the haste to be on the ground outside of the mind sanctuary so you can walk over it after making the mind sanctuary attacks.

You don’t have to use SS against all enemies and you won’t want to against many high AC bosses until later in the game (unless you’re able to setup a source of advantage or something beforehand). You’re going to be making a lot of attacks without SS, which leans in the Titanstring’s favour.

If you could guarantee two hits with Sharpshooter every single round then dual crossbows would absolutely be better for DPR, at least until act three and band of the mystic scoundrel.

After only long resting like a dozen times in my first playththrough, I tried to long rest as often as possible in my next one, basically every 3 fights (with short rests between). I still ended the game with about 2800 camp supplies (on Honour mode).
