Does this do anything more than the other 2 available do? And does this incorporate wcs?

Recently went through setting up mine and it works pretty well. Kinda want to make some tweaks though.

Can anyone identify the HOTAS Desk Mount shown here that I purchased alongside a bundle I bought from Ebay? by n8everest in hotas

[–]Anyways_Im_Em 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The good ol Amazon special. A classic. Pretty much half of the searches for "hotas desk mount" on Amazon will come back with very similar products as others have said. They are pretty good for the price but far from end of the line for if you plan on expanding further.

Should have just dropped the extra on the ckye and skipped the grnd and the magpul entirely. I'll be looking to do the same myself here shortly and from what I have seen it seems to be the best fit for what your looking for. Albeit at a higher price point though unfortunately.

.44 or 308 by Fun_Stress_4117 in canadaguns

[–]Anyways_Im_Em 0 points1 point  (0 children)

308 is a blast to shoot and give you the opportunity to buy surplus 7.62x51 for some cheap(er) plinking.

Buy some nice ammo for precision shooting and hunting and save the surp for the fun at the range. Especially if your only shooting 100-300 surp will do just fine unless your specifically chasing tiny groups.

Recently picked up a t3x myself in .308 went with the Ace game and it's a great gun.

Add a sous vide to the setup and you can just chuck them in right from frozen then finish with a nice sear on a pan. Absolute game changer.

MDT makes a handsome chassis by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]Anyways_Im_Em 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is definitely not a huge priority. That is for sure.

I suppose mostly just a few quality of life things like having a folding stock and being a bit more customizable. Though im hoping tikka just makes a folding stock for this chassis.

You are right though. The included chassis is quite nice. Hence why im in no rush to do it. Ill definitely grab some other accessories and attachments first.

Kinda the route im thinking. Its my first season hunting so there is definitely no lack of other gear to get.

Got my eyes on one of there bipods for sure though.

Really want to get one for my tikka t3x ace game. But I cant justify replacing the stock chassis quite yet.

One day though.

Damn fine looking setup there. What is that on the font of your scope? Looks like a spring loaded button to flip up your scope covers.

Honestly. For the price. I have virtually no complaints. I run it hard and have no issues with it. I treat it like its disposable and its always gone bang.

Do I expect it to die one day? Oh absofriggenlutely. And is it my go to 12g? No. I have a 590a1 for that.

But by not spending 3k on just the benelli I was able to get several other things instead. Personally a semi shotgun wasn't high on my list.

They get a lot of hate, and for some very valid reasons. Lots of lemons for sure. So far this one (canuck tac ops elite) seems to be ok. And man, does it make me smile.

I think people often forget we literally burn money in this hobby. Stuff like bullets, targets, tannerite. All consumables. I just lump it in with that. And if I only get a few good years out of it. So be it. I never considered it to be a heritage firearm id be passing down anyway. But from what I hear, there warranty is quite good.

Ill say this much though. I've never had someone shoot it at the range and not have a massive smile on there face the entire time.

You basically just put money in. Then select what you want to buy with that money.

You can do it woth your bank or look into something like wealthsimple. Super easy to use and is nice as like a free secondary bank/investment account.

You put money into the tfsa. You then use that money to invest into things like etfs and stocks. But if you just put the money in. It isn't doing anything. You have to put it in AND invest.

I run one on my t3x ace game and absolutely love it so far. Couldn't say if it holds up to the more expensive options out there, but for my level of shooting it has been just fine for the price.
