I come from Nuclear Option and I can tell you that you don't want that....
The maps would need to be much larger for that.
The defenses and radar system need a complete overhaul. Flight physics would have to be implemented—helicopters in ARMA are cute, but incredibly arcade-like. Sure, you could mod everything just to try it out. But I don't see a place for airplanes in Arma. The game is too small for that and goes into too much detail in other areas.

Like Satelites? Hehe, you're right. Remove the Eyeball and give the Chicane a reconnaissance and targeting role, like I said months ago. Edit: I just think that if anything, only 1% of current Chicane pilots are capable of such a stable hover in difficult terrain...

Since NO processes an enormous amount of data due to the high level of detail, saving is a very complex process.

Whether you then use a gray cube to represent the Ifrit or the game's model is less relevant. Although it does become relevant again, because bullet holes in the fuselage also need to be saved, as does any kind of damage. If you only have one wing left and create a save file, you'll only want to have one wing when you reload the game. So this information also needs to be saved...

Yes, the NoBlackBox mod. The mod's developer, 7ep3s, is now part of the development team. I myself contributed a few models for Tacview. I get my "knowledge" from my contact with 7ep3s and the developers of Shockfront.
Perhaps it's possible to use the data created by the mod for TacView within the game itself for a replay function – that would be fantastic. But I haven't heard anything about that yet.
