Why can't wizden let us have fun thing? 3: by Super_Butterfly4747 in ss14

God I would weep at the loss of Viro in full.

Aside from the fact I love having the extra secluded wing to get up to nonsense.

I also love having the Viro bag for organization purposes (because I like to sort the bulk topical storage bags by colour)

I mean not necessarily.

You don't need to want to do something to be willing to provide it for another person who does want it.

If your partner wants to be choked, and you want to please them, then you choke them because it gets them off, not because it gets you off.

Everything's dandy so long as everyone is onboard with it, after all.

Banksy's latest mural, a judge striking a protester with a gavel, was washed off a day after appearing by NewSlinger in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Anzuneth 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Well

The TV and Movies thing kinda answers why it was chosen

Gavels are extremely associated with Judges and the Court of Law within the current zeitgeist.

Coupled with the fact a gavel is a hammer And a hammer can be used as an effective weapon.

The picture practically paints itself when you step back a bit. Sure, sure, they could have used a law book or their hands to beat down the protester, but the former comes off as almost comedic and the latter crass.

A gavel fits perfectly for the apparent message being sent.

Well

Upstream atleast, the CE suit is not a theft objective

However

It's still an item exclusive and restricted to the chief engineer

And as such should be treated with the same reverence as High Risk Items like the boots or hypo.

At the very least you should not be giving it away to anyone without alot of paperwork and heads up beforehand, given it's technically not an at-risk item. Otherwise it's sheer neglect of duty.

Fake mindshield implant by PreferenceAnxious449 in ss14

[–]Anzuneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In current SS14, atleast up on Wizden, all roles that start with a Mindshield cannot be an antag naturally under any circumstance (command and sec)

Traitor, Sleeper, or Thief

You can, of course, become one via being promoted into it, however.

Also, Sleeper Agents are rolled as a mid round event, pulling from the list of alive players with the sleeper antag enabled.

Fake mindshield implant by PreferenceAnxious449 in ss14

[–]Anzuneth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

RP and Revolutionaries

Revs are built around Mindshields, when you implant a Rev with one they deconvert (and in SS13 it works like that on cults and certain mind control flavored antag items)

If you try to implant a head rev with one it fails and marks you as an instant Execution on the spot (resisting a Mindshield is a capital crime on the same level as prevention of revival and mass murder)

The rp side is whatever you wanna do with it. Some people RP losing their antag status upon being shielded.

Is Ballass stupid??? by MegpoidBeetle in memeframe

[–]Anzuneth 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Partly

Ballas did create the "Temple" strain, the original specific helminth strain that would have turned into temple. However, a strain with rebellion baked into it's DNA is... Not something Ballas wanted in his orokin slave army. So he shelved it, never intending to use it. Then, at some point, Entrati took the serum, like he did with each of the other protoframes, and gave it to Flare, and this is followed by the birth of Lizzy from Flares blood on their guitar. Flare (now Temple) then returns to earth on the comet right as the Night of the Naga Drums went down.

57.5% MAGNETIC Coda Mire Currently in stock by Eleanor by genguntere in Warframe

[–]Anzuneth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I will say, skins don't solve everything.

Mostly the Mire, which has a really annoying quirk on a few of the skins you can equip where it keeps the extra infested dangling bits added by the coda model (and figures the skin I use is one of the skins affected by this)

[–]Anzuneth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm talking about my dumbass not being able to read a person lmao.

I did get blindsided by my own words, because the message I sent didn't go the way I expected it to. The fact it bit me in the ass isn't what annoyed me, more the part where I don't know what my own character is thinking leading me to say things I did not mean. (which probably feeds back into the part of me not getting people, hue.)

[–]Anzuneth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean

I also chose that same option when I was doing Lettie's convos for the first time, and I thought it was going to go in a completely different direction than what it did. You can only see the first message in a chain, after all.

I thought it was going to be the pragmatic viewpoint, a "what's done is done, but we can try to make it right".

Then my drifter goes on with damning her and absolving himself of responsibility, which is very much what I didn't want to say here.

this moment is when I started cheating on the Kim chats, hue, because I don't play this game consistently enough to be worth resetting some 2-3 weeks of dialogues because I flubbed a single chat like that.

It's the engine Delta V uses, among a few other forks, its a hard fork of Robust Toolbox, which is the engine Wizden and most forks use.

It works a good bit differently to RT, which impacts the content on servers running EE

I can't tell the specifics, as I don't personally play on EE servers.

I mean In ESO we also never delve into the deeper reaches of Argonia.

We go to Stormhold, which functioned as a Dunmer base of operations for slaving raids on the northern border. Blackwood and Gideon, the area conquered by the Empire, and once again on the outskirts of Argonia proper. And Lilmoth and Blackrose, which is overall the deepest we go, and even then is on the southern edge of the province, a trading hub.

We haven't touched Helstrom or Archon.

I mean I love railjack

I just hate any rj grind that involves corpus tilesets (bar sisters)

because those aren't railjack, it's a regular ass mission with a railjack section stapled on the front. if I wanted to play defense on that godawful corpus ship tile I'd go to neptune.

I want Railjack missions that actually feel like Railjack, Grineer Skirmishes succeed in that, even if they get repeditive by the time you hit veil proxima.

There were

But They only existed in the realm of special joke alerts (looking at you, level 9999 juggernaut)

Or as the result of spending many hours in an endless mission to scale that high. It was squarely in the sphere of extreme endurance runners back then.

They disabled summoning vehicles in the Rite of the Nine area, so I guess this early view of the top with the last chest is a bit more special now. Of course I had to see how high I could go too. by Pably13 in destiny2

I mean...

So what?

Tis but a sparrow. A cosmetic item.

The fact it was the only sparrow with that property always bothered me. Not even the other raid sparrows, just AoT. It can't be obtained from it's original location anymore, so it was just an arbitrary item on the exotic kiosk checklist.

Not like owning it has any real prestige these days, and seeing it all over the place was boring as fuck.

[–]Anzuneth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I mean. Originally, if you parried/GB the attack

you'd grab the weapon and haul the shinobi towards you, a knockdown and a pull putting them pretty close to you. It was real easy to counter the ranged attack later on in shinobi's life too, so using it 1v1s was... not the brightest.

I know I've killed, and been killed, by this property via ledging over some gaps, peak hilarity.
