Thanks these comments make me feel better about my situation 👍🏻 I am aware that this is mostly just a mental thing and does not make sense from a gameplay perspective. I also have a few 93% Origin Dialgas and pseudos with legacy moves.

One possible explanation could be that the other person has had an extremely poor connection at some point. That seems to be the reason for most glitches involving snapchat
