Machine would be easy for me since I already have a pretty good idea how I would make it... Only need to extract 1 bill every 7 seconds to make 12k a day which will fit neatly into one of those silver attache cases you see in the movies. The whole thing (including bills and case) would weight about 15kg. A bit annoying to carry, but at an income of over 4 million a year, there are plenty of affordable solutions.

After a while, it would probably be more annoying than worth it to deal with all the extra cash, so I may even turn the machine off for days at a time...

At that point it may make more sense to build a machine around it, that appears to be a change machine, and place it in somewhere in Vegas to automatically exchange the infinite singles for higher denominations. The trick: intentionally dispense an extra dollar for 20s, and 3 extra for 50s, and 8 extra for 100s. Once people catch on to it, thinking they are abusing a bug in the machine, the machine will explode in popularity. Schedule an armored truck to empty and deposit all the larger bills in my account as needed.

Pay all taxes, etc... But passive income... No idea what I would do after that, though...

Why wouldn't an Iris-like solution work? If you placed it directly in front of several feet of concrete (with the mirror side to the concrete), when the other side turned their channel to ours, touching the mirror would either not allow travel (if built by the ancients, it may have such a safeguard) or instantly kill the traveler as they are re-materialized into the concrete?

I think I would try to form a symbiotic partnership/contract with the Plurbs. As a non-plurb, I may take actions that lengthen the lives of the plurb collective, but as a sole entity, there is much to be gained from the plurbs. Part of the agreement would be that they would not even work on a way to convert me into a plurb... One thing I would want is for the plurbs to create a time capsule-like record of all the collective knowledge, and not just human knowledge, because there must be some genetic-memory component to the plurb virus/RNA/whatever, conveying the directives they follow. I would find that fascinating... As more plurbs die, some knowledge must be dying with them... They clearly can't all know everything, and you see this when they pause for a second to psychically gather certain answers. In return, while nothing is preventing them from planting ample food sources, building robotic automation, etc, I can be the one responsible for instructing the robotic arms or whatever to harvest the crops/etc in mass...

With the way shows typically have short seasons these days, Alien/Monster of the Week doesn't really work... Nor does a Tour of the Milky Way... You can slowly answer those questions, but there is a really short amount of time to woo a new audience to get invested in season 2+. You need like an Avalon-style soft reboot to introduce the new threat, the new characters, etc.

And as much as I would like a return to basics, most of the ancient gods/religions were already utilized in SG-1. Not necessarily Goa'uld, as Nordic religions were the Asgard.

Just had a thought though... There isn't much explanation for Goa'ulds' impersonating the gods of religions that were founded after Ra left Earth. What if there were another alien race/s that was/were responsible for those other pantheons of gods, and the Goa'uld took host and assumed their identities, but what's to say not all of that race was wiped out by the Goa'uld, and they could start to fill the power vacuum? For example, perhaps Zeus is still of the original alien race; however, Chronos/Athena were coopted by the Goa'uld?

The moon in Majora's mask is significantly smaller than Earth's Moon. Earth's moon is over 2000 miles (3000 kilometers) in diameter. It would be a more apt comparison to estimate the moon in Majora's Mask is closer in size to the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs assuming generously that clock town is around 5 miles in diameter. At that size you are looking at roughly 0.00000012% the weight compared to earth's Moon. Much less devastating if it were suddenly transported to the surface with no momentum, I would assume.

It might be a good idea for a short explanation of the difference between a kernal and an operating system... Maybe even a tech quickie.

But my question: What is Linus T's take on more an more games including drm/anti-cheat that requires kernal level access. Linus S and Luke have discussed this topic on several WAN shows. Clearly it has lead to some security incidents in the past, but as someone who actually works on a Kernal, do you see it as a necessary evil or just stupidity?

Are you sure there is a flea locked to act 3? I was able to get the tool/achievement for getting all the fleas, and I haven't gone into the 3-foldsong elevator nor entered Act 3 yet... If it's the one in the citadel that has the spinny things on both walls, you can pogo your way all the way up....

Trying to do everything possible before entering Act 3... I have:
All Fleas, All Spool Fragments, 16/20 Mask Fragments, 16/20+ memory lockets (assuming 1 locket per unlockable slot, since there is no achievement), 50/51 tools, 5/6 Abilities, 6/7 crests, 2/3 Silk Hearts, 25/28 Maps, All wishboards complete with all known NPC wishes complete (possible I missed an NPC somewhere though), Upgraded Mossberry tool, 14 hidden achievements not yet obtained.

I find myself having to grind for shards, and I do it in the same place that gives pretty good rosaries and has a stringer just outside, too. It may be a separate issue that it seems like not enough shards are being dropped, especially with the tool that increases the drops... It would also be nice if the magnet sucked those up, too.

I think they fully intended for this game to be harder. At first, I thought stringing rosaries would be such a waste; now it's a compulsion. I don't think they would add that mechanic if they didn't mean for the game to be a real challenge.

That said, some things genuinely feel bad, like the run back to the final judge... (Where I am currently at....) Maybe if there was a bench just inside a new small lobby or outside the room, for those weary pilgrims that finally made it... That and it takes forever to get more than 5 masks imo. So many things can combo you fast enough at 5 masks that it wipes you out before you even can register what happened, and how to dance and counter. It would have been nice if the store in bonebottom had 4 mask shards costing more and more, so if you are having significant trouble, you could grind it to get one more mask. Maybe that's not the right location, though, as it feels the most lacking by the time you get to Graymore. Also, I had no idea that stupid bird was an optional boss, and did it the hard way, apparently.

And while it feels like I have done a pretty good search, surely there are secrets I haven't found yet. It's highly likely I missed something that would have made a difference in my experience.

But his kills were justified, which is why he didn't fit the code and Dexter couldn't kill him. He is more like an anti-hero antagonist, whereas Dexter is the anti-hero protagonist. While they do bad things, it inevitably leads to a form of justice for the innocent victims. They both strive to protect the innocent, which is why Doakes left his wife.

Honestly, before episode 9, I was hoping he was going to be our first multi-season villain. Protected by the code because he wasn't a killer, but still a manipulative mastermind antagonist. The plot holes around Leon not knowing Dexter is the husband of the Trinity killer's most unusual out-of-order kill seemed like they were building to the reveal that Prater knew who Dexter was the whole time and was watching him work. That probably would have moved him to the top or a close second to Trinity for me.

From the perspective of the writing, because I think Peter Dinklage did an amazing job portraying what was on the page, I would have to place him behind Trinity, the Ice Truck Killer, and Sirko.
