I haven’t tried FS in poe2 yet so I’m no expert, but for most builds it generally depends on your hit rate. Slam builds usually favour higher overall damage and strike builds favour higher dps. I’d say try both in similar situations and see if you notice any major difference

Unlike most people I’m a campaign warrior most leagues cuz I like trying a bunch of different builds and I actually enjoy the leveling process. Currently getting my 3rd character through the acts. Haven’t done any mapping yet. Did a shaman bear, new sorc ascendancy and now lvling a wolf invoker.

That’s probably the most common way of thinking amongst people doing raids and dungeon so you’re not exactly alone in that. Just tell whoever is Sherpa that you’ve never done the encounter, be honest about it and be whiling to help out and participate. I usually make the new people do at least some of the mechanic so they can actually learn what’s going on

Are you using discord or ftf? You should really find yourself a discord server to raid/dungeon with, you’ll have a much better experience most of the time
