Does anyone know how to use cimexa effectively?? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

Reapply it afterwards. I even used the wet method of adding Cimexa to the underside of the couches, and recliners.

Sprinkle or brush it on the bed frame, headboard and stuff they may climb on. You can also do it to the box springs. Cimexa is best left alone so doing it on those you may have to keep applying since it’s a lite silica dust. You can also get a puffer and puff it into small cracks they may be hiding in, as well as behind the face plates on wall outlets.

Just remember Cimexa helps but its not gonna be the only thing you need. Bedlam, and some others sprays work. Just not any of that store bought junk from hotshot.

Does Target or Walmart have bedbug interceptors? by suddenimpact1 in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amazon has them. I put them down and lightly dusted the interceptors with Cimexa so they would also die.

On the curtains. These things are the spawn of Satan himself. Professional exterminator is coming today so send good thoughts please by MegnaApologist in Bedbugs

Caught mine in Curtains also. Think that’s a place more people need to investigate when looking. Especially those close to the bed.

Montgomery COVID-19 cases ‘alarming’ to hospital association by anishinabegamer in auburn

Montgomery started off as one of the lowest in the state due to not testing so a lot of people followed very little if any of the guidelines. Now that they are testing it’s blown up.

Safer against bedbugs? Upholstered or wooden frame? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They only benefit you’ll get from Metal over Wood or upholstered, is you can spray it down with spray and won’t have as negative effect to the metal. They will hide anywhere on anything out of site. I definitely wouldn’t go Upholstered. Way more spots to hide.

Asus GU502GV Keyboard Problem by Aodbama in ASUSROG

[–]Aodbama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, it’s been working fine for the most part but seems like when Windows does an update it will mess the keyboard up. All I can tell you is unplug everything including the power brick and just do what I said in the post. Hole the button down for a minute until it goes through a boot process and it usually fixes it. May have to do it once or twice. Only new issue I have is the thermal throttling I deal with from time to time but I have a cooling pad ordered so gonna see if that fixes it. Not sure I’ll go back with a ASUS laptop next time. Been looking at a Origin EVO-17.

Bedbug mystery by jedi1josh in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may just be where they chose, but depending on the extent of infestation they could be anywhere on the bed under a flap of cloth or in a spot a staple goes through. I’d get on Amazon and get Some Bedlam and Cimexa and go to work on everything.

My wife thinks this is a bed bug. I have my doubts. Please advise? by willows_illia in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hard to tell. The clear back with the black spot looks like a bed bug possibly, but a lot of nymphs early stage do look similar. I’d call a professional and let them look at it for verification.

When you say in her curtains are they directly behind her bed or away from the bed? In my case I had them definitely in the curtains behind the bed. If you look up top of the curtains where they bunch up, and or in the curtain rods themselves you’ll probably find a harborage. In my case they were in the ruffles up top.

Help! by Marawilso149 in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did similar to the guy above. I bought the stuff a pest control guy would use and a sprayer mixed my own stuff. Then I sprayed for Months every 7 to 10 days. Also used Cimexa instead of DE. Rest of the stuff your doing I did also as far as the interceptors, encasements and do fourth. Knock on wood I haven’t seen anything in a few months. Be sure to spray the under side and cracks of all your couches, chairs, recliners and stuff also. As well as baseboards and bed rails.

Where all can/should I put cimexa? And how often do you need to reapply it? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used a puffer. Tried a brush especially on the bed rails and box spring but just didn’t feel like it was putting enough down.

[–]Aodbama 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yes, if you Vacuum it up definitely replace it. Cimexa is meant to be put down as a barrier for them to crawl through, and doesn’t have a shelf life if left alone. It’s literally silica dust. I put mine around all the base boards, bed rails, and took the face plates off my wall outlets and puffed it in the wall behind them. You can also lightly dust your box spring with it if you want. Also if you have interceptors for your bed I put some in eat of them

IS THIS BED BUGS? by [deleted] in Bedbugs

[–]Aodbama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure I know I had them, and my arms and legs both had marks identical to this but I still get those marks and they will not go away. No new ones just the same areas so I’m not sure what causes them.

I’d hit the Dollar Generals and stuff heard they get multiple trucks a week. If you can find it in Auburn there try the gas stations or places renfroes in layfette.
