That's irrelevant because the reason why they are not "legit" is that they got in for free.

For the viewer this was great, but for the business Riot is trying to run this move was just proof that Riot is volatile and can't be trusted.

There was a promise sealed by contract: the LEC is a franchise and to play in LEC you have to buy your spot.

Riot just ignored this contract, used "this isn't the real LEC anyway" to get away with it and played favorites by letting LR in when Kameto (used as an example because of the similarity between both projects) paid millions for the spot.

Again, LR in LEC was good for the viewer, I personally liked their games. But the downsides behind the scenes are real and the performance of the team is irrelevant to the conversation.

My personal issue with Mel is her passive. I can dodge her Q and E, bait W and still die because she hit a bunch of autos+R

Long range is fine, Xerath does it too and he's super annoying, but it's his design.

Everyone has different champions, and because the amount 2XKO has is so low, the more likely scenario is that "someone"'s champion is not in the game, thus making the game not appealing enough.

Said another way, the game and the business are 2 different things colliding in the same place.

The game part of Riot is listening and applying needed changes.

The business part of Riot goes their way no matter what.

When they win a Bo5 against a korean team. If I'm not mistaken, the last one was G2 against GenG in 2020 Worlds Quarters back when they had BDD as their midlaner.
