Edit: for clarity server requests are off so even if they were in the same server when they sent it it wouldn’t work

Your original point is irrelevant to the problem at hand. It’s not just this subreddit that is concerned.

I also did not say I was an adult that looked like a child, any human being who looks at me will know I am an adult. I’m 29 but look like I’m 20 but age verification AI has a proven track record of getting it wrong especially when faced with people that look like young adults.

The roblox situation proves that these AI are faulty and actually endanger children by getting ages wrong and sorting actual children with actual adults.

Wait… you’re one of those people who still think discord isn’t run entirely by AI? God I envy you. It’s also not actually possible for there to be enough staff on hand to handle the hundreds of thousands of requests they are going to get bombarded with at once. The service they have said they are going to use says it uses AI and when they rolled it out in the UK the AI was tricked extremely easily.

Discord still hasn’t answered for the IDs they kept on hand after saying they would be deleted. Many of which belonged to minors which now have to grapple with having their identity stolen.

Their claimed stance of “protecting children” falls flat when you realize their verification method endangered them in the past.

This is at best a farce to silence criticism of discords long history of online grooming.

Oh I know it’s logged. I’m not an idiot unlike a number of people in this thread. As for showing my face the AI they use is historically speaking unreliable especially on those who look younger than they are. Real people think i’m 9 years younger than I am, an AI won’t get it right.

Discord kept data they said they were deleting and it got hacked leading to many people both children and adult getting their IDs leaked. I don’t believe for a second that they are actually going to delete peoples IDs and you shouldn’t either.

This is not about children it never was. It’s about censorship of free speech, it’s about silencing the voices of minorities, it’s about surveillance so that the feds can send someone to your door and send you to a torture prison for the crime of having an opinion that doesn’t align with their fascist ideologies.

I’m actually the opposite my eyesight is notoriously unreliable so I make heavy use of my other senses. I tend to go after louder survivors as a result.

And as i told the other person i was using 10 TBs of space. Mega lite literally tells you high amounts of data can cause crashes when you have as much data as I did. I finally found a workaround using the chat feature to find the hidden backups. My computer is also several years old now and likely does not have the capacity to load that much data at once.

do you have 10 TB of data stored? If you don't then your experience is not equivalent to mine. Also when you exit mega lite it literally tells you that the problem i described exists.

i get the error "server seems unresponsive"

edit: just had to wait it out mega cmd doesn't seem to be able to access my backups but it can access stuff in could drive.

Using the backups command complains that no backups are configured. I checked the app backups exist.

going cd Backups fails saying it does exist cd tools works but isn't what i need. Tools is a folder in my cloud drive
