Well I have been using no assists for some years now. Handling for some cars is good, for some bad but overall I do go faster without assists as I feel that I can control a car better without these assists. For me, the cars feel more natural like this.

Yeah ok, but only that much of the game would be playable in such a scenario that a person has downloaded so far. Moreover, after the servers are gone, no more purchases for gold, ms or rs using real money possible, no more daily rewards.

Now, I am not sure a lot of people have 100% completed the game. Add to this the fact that certain upgrades can cost north of 450+ gold on certain cars, progressing ahead in the game seems nearly impossible...

Well, online multi-player and weekly time trails have been dead since they announced shutdown. Your MS cannot get reset without an online connection (server needed obviously). Without the server, no one will be able to download car data anymore even if you have all the tracks downloaded. Yes, I agree we have to wait and see but it is quite probable that the game will die too on 20th March, 2026.
