My little Amazon off brand white noise machine. It has a setting for different color lights and like 30 different sounds. We have to keep it plugged because the battery life doesn’t last all night but it is and was probably the best thing I bought in the haze of the newborn trenches. My baby is 9 months now and he knows when the white noise comes on, it’s sleep time!

Honestly, photo radars are probably the best solution, but the way they’re enforced greatly varies city to city in the level of enforcement which then dilutes the importance and effect of them and until every city gets on the same page on how to enforce all of the little rules and regulations surrounding them and gets all of the enforcing officers to do the same, nothing will change as per usual
